Food was pretty good, well the food we got. We ordered one meal multiple times as our waitress kept forgetting to put it in their computer. After a hour of back and forth we left without the meal. On top of that our waitress was playing on her phone while we waited 30 minutes for our drinks (waters). The food was really good but they need more workers. I know I wasn’t the only table tonight who had poor service. Missed/wrong orders at multiple tables around us as well.

Our party of five was seated immediately upon arrival. Menus were delivered quickly. After a short amount of time to preview the menu, we were ready to order. Pho 1 and Pho 2 were popular choices. We also ordered egg rolls and chicken wings. The Spicy 1 entreé was also ordered. All very tasty. Delivered quickly piping hot and very tasty. Our water glasses were maintained by the server, ensuring we always had water to drink. An excellent Vietnamese Pho restaurant.

I'm surprised I haven't rated this place yet. Broth is always spot on and flavorful, staff is very friendly and attentive, many great selections and the meat is always fresh. Very good pho in Simi Valley.

I bought Avocado smoothie, when I drink it, it doesn’t smooth, too much ice cubes, no avocado taste and the ice cubes weren’t blended smooth. Taste like ice chips drink only. Disappointed.

Hands down the best Vietnamese food option in Simi Valley/Thousand Oaks/Moorpark. Food comes out extremely quick too!

Food is good here, not great but highly overpriced. I guess that's how they are paying for the remodel they did. Won't be back

The atmosphere of this restaurant is so welcoming. They recently remodeled and I was very sad they were closed for far longer than they planned. We had dinner there as soon as they reopened. My favorite item is the pho3 (I belive) the small version of the pho1 which is a mixed beef soup. It has brisket, tripe, tendon, and tenderloin in the most flavorful broth. We also love to get the combination spring rolls with either the beef or pork, both are excellent.

Just got a new face lift, very nice but do miss the old decorations. Food always super good! Love R1, I try to make it at home and never compares to Bamboo Cafe.

Always a good time at Bamboo Cafe. Took my son out to lunch there today for his 21st birthday. He ordered Pho & me & the wife got Bahn Mi's. Everything was good. Fast. Fresh. Love the remodel too. More tables & the interior is brighter & more modern.

Food is still great after re-opening but the service is terrible now. I went here two times in the last week and both times the service was less than desirable. Both times no one came to take our order we had to get up to ask them to take our order, and it wasn’t super busy. On one occasion we told them we where in a bit of a rush do to lunch time constraints and we still had to get up to get the check and go to the counter to order our boba to go. There where other little things… Make sure you have plenty of time if your going to order in.

Food here has always been pretty good but since the pandemic hit, they’ve raised their prices a lot (much like everywhere else) and I don’t feel like the quality matches the price anymore. Egg rolls are always a good choice and the vermicelli noodle bowls are crisp and tasty so if you’re here give them a try, especially their fish option

This place has the best pho in Ventura county. Don’t believe me? Try it yourself. My only grievance with Bamboo, and why it’s not 5 stars, is that they randomly closed for “remodeling” and I still have no idea when they’re reopening. Definitely not the smartest move on their part, at the very least have re-opening “window” so people have something to look forward too.

Love their Thai tea and boba, boba isn’t too soft or too bouncy for me! Their pho was okay.
