Stopped in for a cup of coffee and treat on the way to appointment and noticed immediately the quality look of the doughnuts - glistening uniformly thick icing and a neat, fresh, clean - and just that something special - look that says somebody really takes care in what they do. It was readily apparent after mentioning to the owner their delicious appearance - and taste - comparing them to another brand that boasts using potato flour when he immediately reminded me that the amount used in their recipe is actually quite low - all of this showing me just how much pride he takes in his own doughnuts. This professional level of pride was backed by his integrity when he refused to charge me for a large cup of coffee for a small cup (I had no cash and wanted to "tip" by paying more). It's delicious by the way as well. He's a quality human being, and it shows in his product - they say when food is made with love and care you can taste the difference!
My husband Jonathan and I got donuts here on my birthday. It definitely started my day out very amazingly. I love the staff so much. Used to come here as a kid and everything is still as amazing as it was. Anyway definitely come here. :)

I don't know how I missed this place. I was craving donuts and I happened to see the tiny sign while on the way home. The next morning My GF and I stopped in for a dozen and were very pleased with the quality. Great variety. Super fluffy. It is exactly what you'd want in a donut shop. We will be regulars!

Really disappointing. At this point they're letting people sit, eat, and drink inside- talking and hanging out without masks. I want to be annoyed at those regular customers who continue to do this because they lack respect and consideration but it's the people that work there who are supposed to enforce the rules that they have clearly posted in front. Luckily Simi has many other donuts shops that are following the current protocols that are necessary for things to become "normal" again.
