I lived in Simi till I was 19 years old. From the time I can remember we went to Dr. Conkey's for treats and coffee. I left Simi in 2019 and just recently took my 5 kids here for a trip back home. Not much has changed. The fortune teller, the old general store feel, and the aromas brought me back to nostalgia. Love this place and so did the kids. Their fudge is still the bomb.Kid-friendliness: Lots of treat options, and the customer service is the best.

I came in this morning and the girl dressed inappropriately in a black crop top and Levi's was rude. I was unhappy with my drink and they did not offer to remake it but told me I could buy another one which I didn't want to but my aunt did repurchase it for me. So we spent $13 on two drinks and the second drink was nasty as well. Thanks a lot??

I was visiting my family in Simi over the weekend and with the gloomy weather we wanted to go to a local coffee shop. I was just going along for the company and forgot how magical this place is. We walked in and immediately felt the warmth and fall spirit of the place in full fall decor and smells. We started with a fun fortune reading from Doraldina and I ended up winning a free 16oz Cosmic Blizzard drink. It was such a nice surprise! The Cosmic Blizzard consists of espresso, white chocolate, carmel, and milk. The caramel was so delicious and for someone who didn't want anything, I ended up drinking the whole thing and shared a cranberry scone with my brother and his girlfriend! Next, we decided to surprise my mom and got her a mini chocolate box with all of her favorite candy from the candy section (not pictured), but imagine the cutest dainty box with a ribbon of your choice on top and you can customize it to your liking with what goes inside! We had such a great experience and was reminded of the sweetness of this special place in Simi!

Ordered 5 chai tea lattes with light ice. And one of them wasn't quite full and I asked if it could be filled. One employee topped it off. But the other server got visibly irritated and commented to the other girl "...we charge extra for light ice" really??? You want to charge extra for 1 oz of milk. I forgot why I stopped coming here and was just reminded why. Snarky attitudes and mediocre drinks.

If you ever want to gaslight someone into thinking that Simi Valley is a cozy lil town filled with charm then TAKE THEM TO DR. CONKEY'S! This place is dripping with cozy charm. From the old fashioned candy counter to the boutique cafe drinks to the charming kitch, this place is IT. I have been going here since high school and ever since then the cherry bomb has been on the menu and for good reason, it's absolutely amazing! This is a must try spot.

I have been going to Dr. Conkeys for nearly 30 years! This is a Simi Valley staple. Visit to enjoy their old fashioned candy counter and grab a bag of their ground coffee as well. In the back, you can order a speciality coffee drink and sit inside or outdoors to enjoy it.

Love the coffee bar. They are extremely consistent with the drinks. I am always happy with it. It's a little busy during the typical morning rush, but worth the wait. I highly recommend the White Blizzard. Although, I don't think you will be disappointed with any drink. They also have a nice variety of specialty sodas and candy assortments.

I had to run some errands in the shopping center this coffee shop is located in, so I decided to stop by here because it looked cute from the outside and I wanted to splurge on a fancy coffee drink. Inside looks just like a turn-of-the-century candy shop! The attention to detail is 10/10. There are THREE counters where you can purchase truffles, fudge, an array of candy, coffee beans, and the baristas are in the last counter in the back of the shop, which has some tables and chairs in a cozy sitting area. There seemed to be a lot of regulars coming in since the baristas knew them by their first names. A lot of older people seem to frequent this establishment, and honestly it was just so wholesome I could physically feel my heart warming I'm not a coffee connoisseur (read: snob) so I can't comment on the quality of coffee as I got something super sweet with a small amount of coffee and no espresso.There was plenty of seating out front that overlooked the parking lot. The chairs were comfortable, I just wished there was a large umbrella over the tables as the sun was HOT that day However, if I was in Simi Valley again I would definitely stop by this place so that I could buy up all the candy I saw.
