Im not sure what’s going on at this store. Every time I order something from this location they always miss something. Last time it was my guacamole this time it was a whole side order. Do they not know to check the order ticket? The store on tapo canyon has never left anything out. I don’t know if the don’t care about customer service or employees are just not interested in doing their job. This is the last time I’m ordering from here. Ever since they change management it’s been downhill for this location.

Once again rude people taking orders. Seen numerous reviews about this. Ordered 2 classic tostada bowls. Literally 1st ingredient in chicken. Guess what both of them didn't come with... literally making it clear will never go back to Simi one.... Rude and no chicken for both bowl. I threw away and wife made dinner... U owe me 21.00 let me know how you wanna go about this?

The service at this location is fantastic. I drive from Thousand Oaks to the Simi Valley location because their chicken is always hot and fresh. The young lady,Yazmin, working at the front counter is very nice. This is one of the better locations for sure.

Great service staff and manager Veronica is so nice and friendly I recommend this place the food is so good chicken is so juicy I love eating at this location I have not gone to another pollo loco where the food tastes as good as this place

The manager Veronica is not only rude, she's racist. Every time I come in she's kind and pleasant to customers in front of me . When it's my turn to order she has an attitude. She gave two customers in front of me a coupon to use for their purchase. When l asked for a coupon she told me that I would receive it in my bag after I made my purchase. She's tried to argue with me stating that I didn't ask for certain condiments to not be included in my meal, when in fact I did. She talks shit in Spanish thinking that I won't understand and she's always rolling her eyes at me. Anytime I get a pollo bowl I'm ALWAYS able to substitute it for broccoli. When I asked her she immediately had an attitude and said verbatim " No that's why it's $5. All she could've said was "sorry I can't accommodate that" even though every other employee / manager at this establishment has. The other managers/ employees have never given me issues. It's sad because I love this restaurant even though Veronica makes dining there very unpleasant.

I ordered the Chicken Bowl and it was awful. The chicken was definitely left overs. I thought it would be, but it tasted days old (dry and old tasting). The staff were fine. I've ordered here before and didn't have any issues, but I usually order the fresh chicken. Beware of the bowls.
