Not worth it. Food subpar, cost same as everywhere else. Atmosphere depressing. Went in for breakfast and paid the price 30 mins later. No music. Decor reminded me of 70's leather upholstery look but 1940's chandeliers. Acoustics let you hear everyone's conversations in stereo.

Food is so so. Ordered ham and cheese omelet with biscuit and gravy. Weird smoked taste for the gravy Omelet was made in one of those pans you would use at home. Ham had not taste, small cubes. Partner had eggs Benedict which were ok with same plain ham. This place looks like it's going out of business. Wanted to try to support local. Server was nice but we won't be back.

I visited the diner with a long-standing patron who has been going there for 30+ years. He is now visiting from out of state and wanted to have a reminiscent get together with his church friends. Twelve of us were crowded into a small booth. The female “manager” refused to seat us at a larger table in the back room, which was available. The only option given to us was to stay in the crowded booth or split up our party and sit apart, in different booths. The manager was patronizingly rude. Because our guest is now visiting from out of state and will only be here for a short while, he chose to stay in the crowded booth with his friends. i walked out and will never step foot in that place again. If this is how they treat their dedicated patrons, I can only imagine how they treat their other customers.

A quaint, peaceful and delightful establishment that has a wonderful atmosphere with a clean arrangement. Had the chilli and cheese omelette, and the cook was gracious to add some paprika at my request for a spicy zing. A pleasant fare and with equally good service. Many thanks to the servers and the cook for the satisfying experience. Success and prosperity to the First Street Family Restaurant.

BLT was fine. But the place needs a good cleaning. Corrugated poster board partitions. Gross.

This is a really home-style restaurant, similar to a Coco's, but with a less corporate look and feel. The food here is always good, and the staff are all very friendly. We usually go 2-3 times a month and order omelettes, which are great. They do tend to over-cook the hash browns, though, so be warned that you may need to ask them to go easy on the potatoes. Also, for locals trying to go back north on First St., there is no easy way!!!

Your standard issue American diner food. Quality was on the wrong side of the scale, especially with the price they are charging. We ordered the simi omelette, eggs Benedict and a short stack of pancake. The flavor of the Benedict was okay, nothing remarkable, but the hollandaise sauce on it was broken. The omelette was decently portioned, but overcooked. The toast that came with it was burnt as well. The pancakes looked nice, but were somehow rubbery. Service was bad! Took forever for the server to take our order after sitting down, and then when the food came there were no utensils. We had to hunt her down to ask for silverware to which she seemed surprised. Water glasses were never refilled, and when we were done, we had to yet again, hunt her down to get us our check. We did not enjoy our experience at this establishment and will not be returning.
