Last time I was there, about a year ago, both the food and the service were bad. They had four people working, and yet it took 20 minutes to get someone to get a drink order, and at least a half hour to get our food. We felt like a burden to the staff for coming in. We were trying to be patient and understanding, but when the food came, it was just mediocre and not worth the wait at all. The space is also very cramped.

It's about time I leave a review. One of the most consistent restaurants with great service and food in Simi Valley. Sunday, my family tried giving Mariachi Loco Grill and Cantina a try for a different type of menu to fall short, cancel our order, pay for our drinks and drive to Maria's where it is tried and true. What an extreme difference in experience between the two restaurants but nothing less than what it is every time we visit Maria's which is at least three times a month. How refreshing to have great service, great food (Mole, guac and Agua Fresca my fav) all effortlessly. Thank you Maria's for being authentic and never disappointing. Keep shining!

Awesome food. Excellent prices. Great service. Every meal we've had has been exceptional, but the breakfast, with a carafe of Mimosa, is the king!! One of the best family owned restaurants in Simi.

This place had great food, incredible service, and reasonable prices. For me it was great in every aspect.Would definitely go back.I had a Carne asada burrito.The meat was chopped up very small. Great flavor. Also the chips and salsa was a little spicy but very good.

I love their food! We don’t have good Mexican restaurants in SV but this is a good one! Their fish tacos are so good as well as their Mango Margarita and flan. My friends really enjoy the Tequila Chicken and the chopped salad.

Had the Change Coffee, great for those who like to taste their coffee and have a little bit of sweetness. The cocoa is very mild and really just adds a subtle chocolate note.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in a while! Had the Vegetarian Combo with 2 cheese enchiladas and a chili relleno. Great chips and salsa. The cheese enchiladas had authentic corn tortillas with delicious ranchero cheese topped with an amazing potato/tomato/carrot pico. Highly recommend!!
