10/10 this place is a treasure! The food, the staff, the ambiance are all amazing. We ate our incredible meals watching the birds and the butterflies around us on the beautiful patio overlooking the creek. The building and decor are just as beautiful as the food is delicious. The menu was familiar, but elevated. Everything was excellently executed. If the owner sees this, I’d love to know where you purchased your flatware. I’ve never in my life thought I would be blown away by a fork haha.

Came out yesterday after not having been here for years and we had a lovely time. The food was all so delicious and fresh and the service was attentive and friendly. :) I wish I took better pictures, but my partner and I just wrapped up a fishing adventure and were super hungry. We are glad we stopped here!

I have been to a lot of restaurants in this area since moving here 5 years ago and have not found very many that I can walk away from and say it was worth every penny. This is a hidden gem! The food is all fresh and homemade, including the bread! The arugula salad is so fresh and delicious. The pasta is some of the best I’ve had. The service was outstanding and the owners are delightful. They have their own garden and the atmosphere is wonderful! If you haven’t tried this place, make a reservation now!

The food here was very tasty, however; we shared oysters. Which were raw and definitely at least room temperature, if not warmer. The next day, I became violently I'll with food poisoning, the following day my partner did as well. We contracted norovirus, commonly contracted from contaminated raw oysters. We will not be going back here, I have never been so sick in my life.

A wonderful unexpected find out in the boonies! White table cloth service was impeccable. The lunch sampler platter was spectacular & fed 3 of us gals with leftovers!!! The Victorian building is surrounded by a beautiful deck & garden worthy of a small wedding party! The husband & wife owners are so very sweet & considerate. This place topped off our road trip to the pumpkin patch!

What a wonderful place! The setting is elegant and it feels very old world. The food is eclectic with some really original touches. My mousse dessert was exquisite and light as a feather! This place is worth exploring!

I took my girlfriend here because it looked nice. Wow! We were both blown away by the atmosphere, the quality of service, and the absolutely delicious meal we had. It was very romantic and everything is homemade family recipes farm to fork! One of the best dining experiences we both had ever had. Definitely going back soon! The farmhouse has a vintage feel and it is beautiful. Very romantic. The family who owns and operates the restaurant was very personable and friendly. It was really cool because my girlfriend is from the same region of the world as the restaurant owners family. Absolutely a hidden gem. We had a wonderful experience and I recommend this place very highly.

Thank you to Alisa and Slav for a great birthday dinner. The food is amazing -- fresh, creative, delicious. Definitely worth the drive from Sacramento. Also love the building's incredible history. And while renovations have been done, the historical feel is still alive and well. We will be back!

We love this historic building restaurant on the Cosumnes River and always stop when we are in the area. It's lovely in nice weather to sit on the deck. Dogs are welcome there. Otherwise, the dining room and bar area are welcoming. The food is fantastic from the Burrata with buckthorn to the Stroganoff. Try the Merlot from Moldavia! The house charcuterie is amazing & salads have a great dressing. Soups are delicious. Pork chop is awesome! Service is outstanding. Family run. Worth going out of your way lunch or dinner.

This place was excellent. We arrived a little early but they seated us right away. The chef came out personally and told us about the specials and he was so knowledgeable about the area, the local produce, proteins and wines. What a gift of knowledge he had . I had the VERY fresh sturgeon and it was over the top fabulous! My beau had the Barramundi and it was superb also. This is a destination for sure. Highly recommended
