Is this under new ownership? My fresh fruit was frozen and 3-4 staff members stood around gossiping ignoring all obvious signs someone is done eating and ready to go.Prior to this experience this place has always been great.

Super cute little tucked away cozy breakfast/brunch/coffee place. Food was spectacular, service was warm welcoming and spot on. Nice indoor or outdoor options. Same lot, just to the north of main restaurant is a walk-up building for take away coffee/drinks/snacks with its own shaded seating area too. Lovely little charming eatery where they obviously love dogs too. See attached photo of doggie menu, posted at doggie height when you walk in. Great place! Give it a try.??

Renee is very rude and gave zero hospitality. A very enjoyable restaurant but this server should not be working here.

Stopped in before a day on the beach.Awesome spot with great outdoor seating.Service was good not great and waitress seemed a little upset. The coffee (I believe it was the Hersheys Mocha) and classic cappuccino were very good. For food the Tuscan Eggs Benedict was awesome, DEFINITELY add the sausage. So good. The green chile omlette was very good as well.I can see why so many people recommended Claire’s to us.

We loved it here so much! The food was delicious and the creative plates allowed us to try some new things. They are so pet friendly! They have a menu just for dogs and allow dogs to sit outside on their large outside seating area. We were so pleased with the service and taste and quality of food. We were able to get a seat quickly even on a weekend.Vegetarian options: There are many sweet and savory options for vegetarians and they will accommodate and make changes to meals if needed.Parking: There is a small free parking lot behind the restaurant but not large enough for a truck. We ended up parking across the street and paying for parking.Kid-friendliness: There were lots and lots of babies here. I’m not sure it offers a lot for toddlers but families seemed very comfortable here.

I ordered short rib hash and it was not good. Stale hashbrown, the oil flavor was awful and immediately upset my stomach. We were seated right around noon. It was my first time and I had heard their hasbrown are tasty. This was horrible, funky taste to hash brown, not fresh at all. If they serve till 3, it has to be fresh. Reused oil is not acceptable. It was really bad.

I am one of the needy southern Californians. My belly needs sustenance! Claire’s is where my belly (lower case, don’t want it to be self-important) finds its mornings’ reprieve, before it’s starved for 3 hours until lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: Great access with a huge lot to park in across the street.

I really liked Claire's. Our server was friendly and attentive but not overly so, and the patio was well-kept, with heaters on even during the day since it was a bit chilly, which I really appreciated!I found the menu to be slightly overwhelming in the number of choices. I felt it could benefit from being slightly pared back to give more focus to the stand-out dishes.I had the Salmon, Pear, and Shaved Fennel Salad, which was very good but the pears were the best part of it and there were only a few wedges. The salmon was good if slightly overcooked, and the salad was much heavier on the greens than an equal distribution of mix-ins and spinach. Overall, I'd come here again just for the atmosphere, but I'd order something else.
