Such a cute authentic Italian cafe so close to Del Mar dog beach! They have a cute outdoor seating area. Their food is electric, tasty light Italian dishes. We had their brascuta, carpaccio, and cappuccino. Made it a delightful afternoon.
GO HERE!! My Mom and I here went for supper and we shared a salad, had our meals, and shared dessert. It was fantastic food; it didn't make me feel heavy and gross. It was hand cooked meals and the service was great. It's close to the beach so we drove down the road and walked in the sand. I will be coming here again during my next visit. You can. Never go wrong with a patio.

As we stayed at Marriott and were tired, we decided to eat dinner here. We were told 7pm seating as there were a private party of 70 between 5-7pm. That was fine. As we entered the restaurant, the server gave us the best table by the fireplace, HOWEVER, there were about 6-8 rude and rowdy drunken people heckling and cackling and we were absolutely miserable. We moved to the back of the restaurant but we can still hear them. We were expecting a quiet meal, but no luck. Then I asked one of the ladies to tone down. She said: I don't know about that and I saw her talking to the employee. The food was promptly served and was ok. I felt sorry for the server as he seems apologetic. If you don't mind rowdy drunken crowd, this restaurant is conveniently located. Please do not expect much. We literally left in 30 minutes.

Only went in for a drink, however this placed missed badly. We ordered an old fashion, bartender made them, with club soda, never had made like that before. Tasted awful. Also their garlic bread with sauce tasted bad too. Probably should not have paid for any of it, however we did. Definitely a place to skip if you are in the area.

I have driven by this place for years and always have wondered about it. It always looked dead when I drove by. Well, I went to dinner a few weeks ago here, and I've been two more times since. Making up for lost time. I had their lasagne, and it was great. The time before I had meatballs and garlic bread. Also delicious. I am obsessed with their garlic bread. They serve it cut up in little triangles and serve with warm marinara. Yum. Good service and nice ambiance with a fireplace and full bar. It was busy because apparently everyone just walks over here from the hotel and local neighborhoods.

Have wanted to try this place and got the opportunity recently. Food was delicious and service great. The place was cokd and lacked atmosphere. In spite of atmosphere I would recommend and go back. Burrata salad and eggplant were great.

We stopped in for lunch today around 12 noon. We ordered the pasta carbonara as a starter and the Sicilian pizza. Everything was delicious and fresh!!
Excellent! Went in for our secret elopement anniversary mid-week and were seated right away. Sat by the beautiful fire. Wine, lobster ravioli, and carbonara were lovely. We will be back!

The best authentic cuisine in town, 1000% reccomend it if you are in town for any reason. Chef makes one of the best penne alla vodkas on the planet, order two servings. I'm ordering 3 plates of it!!!

Ordered take out from this restaurant a few days before thanksgiving 2023. *Absolutely delicious*! Ordered the Seafood spaghetti, meatball app, bruschetta, and grilled artichokes. I am so pleasantly surprised!! Every item was top notch. Highly recommend!

We visited this restaurant on Friday, May 11, and they were so busy, we had to take to go. We returned tonight. Antonio, from Sicily was fantastic! We ordered Burratta which was ober the top, incredible! Chicken Picatta was amazing as well! Very attentive and personalized service! We sat inside in the evening and the setting is very romantic even in daylight hours.
