I love Peet's coffee and will go out of my way to get their coffee. This location is a 50/50 on customer service. Wasn't acknowledged by the guy behind the counter when I walked in and I was the only one in the shop. One pound of coffee I ordered was ground down extra fine more like for expresso instead of for a cone filter. I was very specific w order. There are a couple very friendly helpful baristas here but not all. Normally my go to after workout but my last visit was a bad experience.

Inconsistent to say the least. Coffee is overpriced and the employees are clearly underpaid. Went for my morning coffee today at 9:30 and they are “closed for medical emergency “. Hand written note. I can’t imagine what must have sent all the employees home this morning but I won’t be going out of my way to get coffee here anymore

This place has the best workers I have ever encountered anywhere. The entire staff is excellent. Not only are they great at their jobs, and make the BEST coffee, they are just so sweet, kind, smiling and friendly. The company should pay them all top dollar.

Being here this afternoon was the highlight of my day. My boyfriend and I had lunch at a new restaurant in Mission Valley where the service was sad and disappointing. Afterwards, we decided to go for a drive to cool off (literally and figuratively, I was pretty upset and it was a hot day). We decided to stop for iced coffee and we favor Peet's. The Solana Beach location was our nearest stop when the coffee craving hit.This was our first time at this particular Peet's, which is smaller than the many others I've been to, but charming. I placed our mobile order after parking and we waited inside. We were happily greeted by the baristas as they prepared our drinks: Iced Americano and Iced Dark Chocolate Mocha, both made to perfection.There were only a few other customers and we had a little over an hour before closing. This gave me the time to chill out and just be. The high tables provide a lovely view of Lomas Santa Fe Dr. and the train station. We got to overhear a loud, amusing "No drummer, no band" conversation by a couple of dudes at the high table next to ours. I was quietly making funny faces at my boyfriend because unassuming-looking me can play the drums and I understood every technicality and rock reference they brought up.After closing, we continued to enjoy our beverages as we walked along Cedros. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area.
This Peet’s has been open till 5:30 for as long as I’ve been coming here. Over 5 years. Just last week I was here and they were open till 5:30. I come every Friday. Today I get here at 5:15 and they are closed. Website says 5:30. Sign on door is now whited out till 5. Ridiculous! Give customers a heads up that the hrs will be changing. Will be unable to make by 5 on Fridays. Just lost a long time customer.

It was my first time here but I don't think I would come again. If you're a coffee drinker you would probably enjoy it much better than I did. They had a variety of coffee options. I came looking for coffee alternatives (yes, I know the name specifically says coffee) but sometimes coffee shops have great coffee alternatives. The place was empty when I dropped by; looked like a great place to sit and relax or study. The staff were very friendly! I don't drink coffee so I practically drank white chocolate milk which started alright but towards the end felt like I was drinking milk with ice cubes ??♀️

I walked in to this establishment, they had already closed, but left the door unlocked. The manager would not serve me nor let me use their restroom. Terrible customer service and no human decency. I will never return to a Peet's coffee.
