We found very good wine, food and conversation at Golden Leaves during our visit to the Fair Play area. Alex and Josey are the definition of life long learners having taken on the challenge of learning viticulture and winemaking from the ground up after retirement. They are enthusiastic and willing to share their experiences and knowledge. We enjoyed out visit greatly.

I love this winery. Owners for 2.5 yrs Josie and Alex are so welcoming. Whether you are visiting for a special event or just a regular tasting, it's so good.Excellent wine choices. When rhe food is flowing fabulous eats. Zinfest tasting included 2 Zins and other choices, including bubbly that I enjoyed.Visit this winery in your travels to this area. It will not disappoint

I went to Golden Leaves Vineyard & winery to taste their wine on a weekday afternoon. The owners made me feel comfortable and welcoming. I ordered an open faced sandwich. It was very good very reasonably priced. I tasted six different of the bottles of wine and finally settled on their Merlot 2017 and Cabernet Sauvignon also 2017, and end up buying them. Excellent! I would recommend going there. If you're in the area to me it seems a little bit out in the boonies, but hey, it was worth the trip.

This winery has a wonderful selection of wines... my wife had a bottle of their Chardonnay and it was FANTASTIC! They are adding RV access soon so you can stay on site! A pond and full commercial kitchen.

A true gem of an experience. My boyfriend and I just happened in because we were starving and the sign mentioned food. I’m so, so happy we did! Josy and Alex treated us like we were walking into their home. They came up with the most personalized, amazing food, wine, and dessert service I’ve ever had. Every single thing they make, from bottle to plate, is so thoughtfully and expertly crafted. We walked away members of our first ever wine club! I can’t wait to come up next quarter!

What a wonderful experience I had with my son and family and two dear neighbors at Golden Leaf Winery for Christmas dinner! Alex and Josie could not be more gracious hosts--everything was perfect from the savory hors D' oeuvres and scrumptious pumpkin soup to the delicious traditional turkey dinner and homemade raspberry wine cheesecake dessert. Those were my choices--my son had the Turkey vegetable soup and my Grandson devoured the chocolate cake...I could go on and on---have not mentioned the homemade biscuits and did I say this was a winery--??--oh my, am going back soon for a glass of one of Alex's exquisite wines and a bowl of Josie's homemade soups....You are missing out if you do not visit this beautiful vineyard/winery soon--the view alone is worth seeing!!!

We a lovely afternoon at this winery. Had a fantastic lunch and great wine with good friends. Pumpkin soup,crostini, tortellini, stuffed squash, homemade bread. Finished it off with a devils food cake. We highly recommend this great winery and restaurant.

We enjoyed the wine and food pairing immensely. The food (cassoulet, salad and pastry) was delicious. The wine was very good and well matched to the food.A wonderful discovery, we look forward to going back.

If you are wine-tasting in the Fair Play area, I highly recommend a stop at Golden Leaves Vineyard and Winery. The owners Josy and Alex are very friendly and they make some excellent wines. My favorite is a red blend called Two Minors; 50% Malbec, 50% Petit Verdot. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
