Consistently great food and service. A broad selection of beers plus friendly patrons and dogs!

PLEASE bring back your Kale Caesar Salad! It is the best on the planet. So disappointed it has been removed from the menu.

The outside seating of this place was pretty near perfect. Had a nice glass of wine here and enjoyed their sweet potato soup. Got a decent salad. Servers and staff were very nice to our party. Good experience but if you enjoy a nice meal outside this a great stop.

Omg the stuffed artichoke and fish tacos here are Devine. We came when it was very busy but managed to get a seat quickly. We stopped at the bar first and were able to get some drinks from an awesome and quick bar tender. Our party visited 3 times in our 4 day vacation to Sonoma so you could say we liked it. The bathrooms are very nice and clean and it wasn’t a super far walk from the square if you are hoping to avoid an Uber.Vegetarian options: The artichoke is to die for. They have an excellent menu.Parking: There is a lot of different kinds of parking around. Even though the place was packed there was lots of street parking around. I believe lots of people walk.

Food was better than expected but a bit pricey. We were a group of 12 and it was a very rainy day but we stayed dry under the tent. The service was quite slow. We were there for 30 minutes before our waitress took our order but once she got to us she was very nice and efficient. It was quite busy on a Sunday at lunchtime and incredibly loud, especially when the guitarist started up it was impossible to have a conversation.

Casual place with large Bier garden close to Sonoma plaza

Solid spot for a variety of food and beers. It gets busy, but is dog friendly and they have live music on the weekends, so overall good vibes.

Ordered the ribeye and a coworker ordered tacos. Steak picture didn't turn out well so didn't attach it. Hopmonk has a cabin like warm vibe with an outdoor area intended for live music or other entertainment activities. The place itself was pretty nice however I wasn't impressed by the food. The steak was the thinnest ribeye I've ever received and it didn't come with much for sides. Other than that looking at the tacos and seafood bowls it looks like that's the items to buy. Service was okay and it was nice to see the staff working together when delivering entrees.

We split a Reuben sandwich and a pretzel with beer cheese. The Reuben was dripping with greasy deliciousness, with grilled meat and sauerkraut, and good rye bread. And the pretzels and beer cheese were very good. Couldn't even begin to finish it all.

Painfully slow service. Staff rarely checked in with us while waiting 40+ minutes for food for 4 people. Prices are way too high for the quality of the food.

we went by on a slow night for a burger...my buddy got the western and i got the regular burger...i didnt really ask him about his burger but he did get a side 'field of greens' which looked great...the Hopmonk cheeseburger had some tomato chutney on it like it was an Italian sloppy joe...it was not good, just unimpressive and i would not recommend it...and the regular fries were as boring a fry as ive ever had...its just too bad, cause the place in warm and coozy and the beer is good, but the food, is pretty average at best.

We came her on a rainy February Sunday, ready for lunch. They have a large tented Biergarten, but too cold for us today. Inside was warm and cozy. Hubby and I split an order of boneless Buffalo wings and a grilled artichoke. Everything was tasty and plenty for the two of us. Nice service too!
