Enjoyed a delicious meal and great service at OSO. Waiter was a delight! I enjoyed the shrimp and grits and my husband LOVED the braised short ribs. "Man that was great" to quote my husband. Highly recommend!!

Oh So Good! Best burger, simple, thick patty, grilled perfectly, Brioche bun, yummy sauce, melted cheese, enough lettuce and tomato to qualify as borderline healthy. Enough said.

Great experience last night at this local Sonoma gem! Smallish menu with lots of starters to share and also some regular size entrees as well. The food was amazing. The service was great and friendly. We had a reservation for later in the evening but we called and they were happy to accommodate our request to come in earlier. I love sitting at the front window when we go with friends or sitting at the bar and watching the chef. Nice ambiance, kind of dark and moody with cool art on the walls. To start, we ordered the buratta. It was delicious. Served with pesto, Calabrian chilies and bread. We also ordered the raw oysters and a green goddess salad. For our mains - 3 of us ordered the boneless beef short ribs served with carrots and mashed potatoes and the other guest ordered the shrimp and grits. Needless to say we cleaned our plates! For dessert, we ordered the butterscotch pit de creme and a hot fudge sundae. I highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect location right on the Sonoma Plaza.

What a find in Sonoma Square! The restaurant's vibe is very casual and unassuming. My husband made the reservation so I wasn't sure what to expect as we sat down. The food and drinks were AWESOME! The Ginger Rickey with house made ginger shrub was spectacular. Super refreshing and I want to recreate the recipe for hot summer days. We ordered the hummus which was exceptionally good. The crostinis it's served with were even memorable! The baked oysters Rockafeller, clam chowder, and green goddess salad were all delicious. For an understated atmosphere, the food, drinks, and service really impressed. The wine bar (lounge?) next door is apparently owned by the folks at Oso with plans for expanding the wine lounge experience. I'm excited to see how they develop it, but it was still a lovely by-the-glass experience after lunch. Pop by!

Listen up, you Bay Area burger hounds. I've chased down dry, overpriced patties from Marin to Menlo Park, and let me tell you, disappointment is a well I know well. But then I stumbled onto Oso Sonoma in the heart of Sonoma Plaza. Now, this ain't some white tablecloth, pretentious gastropub. This is where the locals go, the kind of dive with chipped floorboards and a healthy skepticism towards kale. And that's precisely where they get their damn burgers right. They keep it simple: locally-sourced beef, cooked to a juicy, just-pink perfection. No frills, just flavor. The cheese, you can pick your poison – cheddar, fontina, or this truffle jack that'll knock your socks off (assuming you haven't sweated them right off in the Sonoma heat). The bun? Toasted just enough to hold this meaty masterpiece without turning into a soggy mess. But here's the kicker: the secret sauce. This ain't some mass-produced mystery goo. This is a flavor bomb that whispers of tangy pickles, smoky paprika, and something herbal I couldn't quite place. It elevates the whole damn burger to a symphony of savory goodness. Now, service ain't usually what gets me waxing poetic, but the crew at Oso Sonoma deserves a shoutout. They're friendly, efficient, and know exactly when to refill your beer without hovering like a tourist lost in Napa Valley. So, the next time you're craving a burger that's more than just a glorified Happy Meal, head to Oso Sonoma. It's a testament to the fact that sometimes, the best things come in the most unassuming packages. Just don't expect a fancy Instagram backdrop – this is a burger joint for people who appreciate good food, not good filters.

Oso won me over with its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The Braised short ribs plate was a highlight, and the Banshee glass of wine was a perfect pairing. Whether for a romantic date or a quick bite with friends, Oso is my new go-to spot in Sonoma!

great food, but super rushed, so obvious, when we asked if they had an espresso martini, we were told which bars we could go to nearby, when it came to dessert, she told us about an ice cream place down the street?? She said it was her third day, were were gone in 65 minutes- from drink, appetizers to finish- too bad, food was great!

Great experience and excellent food. The butterscotch pot de Creme was epic. It's worth more than the price.

Lovely dining experience at OSO. I loved the seared Tuna. You can tell they go out of their way to select the best produce and meats. Fresh, light and beautifully presented. The cocktails are enjoyable and it felt like a treat to dine at OSO.

Great menu for food and drink, excellent playlist! Friendly, efficient service, everything we ordered was perfect! They were out of oysters and it was a little chilly outside, it being 40 degrees outside and the bathrooms being outside with the doors opening regularly didn't help. Highly recommend, we'll be coming back in the summer to sit outside! ?

We loved the ceviche here but the taco dish was lackluster. The cocktails were creative and very tasty. We left feeling a bit hungry though. We wished they served bread and olive oil so at least we would be full. The taco dish (chicken tinga) was just okay. The soft shells were bland and the sauce was not memorable.
