We celebrated my soon to be sister-in-law's bachelorette in Sonoma earlier this month and one of the activities the maid of honor chose for us was this wine trolley. We weren't sure what to expect, but we certainly enjoyed our time in the end! We were the first group to arrive and got the run down from the driver. The first part of the trolley the driver gave us a bit of a history lesson for Sonoma Valley then he moved into playing music for us. We went to 4 wineries starting with the largest one and finishing with the smallest. The first had incredible photo ops and by the last one we were singing all the songs having a blast! Be sure to bring something warm to wear as we ended up in the open air into the early evening and some of our party was getting very chilly. It was overall a very enjoyable experience. Be prepared to spend a decent amount of money if you plan on wine tasting at each winery and purchasing any of the bottles afterwards. I've attached a few of the views we saw on the trolley ☺️

We booked the wine trolley for a day of wine tasting for a bachelorette trip. Our day started off slow, we had no idea what was in store for us. By the end of it we were dancing, cruisin and blastin toons on the ol' trolley! Paul was the ultimate driver, we had a few people who were unable to book the trolley and get seats so they followed behind and Paul made sure they had tastings with us at every stop. PAUL DESERVES A RAISE!!!

Amazing experience! We got to visit 4 different wineries with varying winemaking styles and stories. Paul was a great guide. Learned a lot about Sonoma and how different it is from Napa. 100% would recommend specially if you don't want to drive to get to the wineries.

Highly recommend! What a way to experience the vineyards in Sonoma! I hope you're lucky enough to have Paul as your guide/driver! He's extremely knowledgeable and passionate on the history of how San Fran/Sonoma came to be. Throughout the day he was very attentive and always made sure you were having a good time!

This was such a fun idea for our 1st day in Sonoma. Paul, the driver and guide, was fun and enjoyed 4 distinct wineries. Highly recommend. Note that the trolley is open and it is windy because of that. Hold on the your hats as 1 guest lost his to the wind!

SUPER HELPFUL. My wife accidentally booked a tour for the wrong day, and the third party booking company was not willing to help us. We called the company directly and spoke to Mark, and he was able to get everything fixed for us with no problem! Great customer service, would highly recommend!

Had a great time on this tour. 4 diverse wineries ranging from large commercial wineries to small family places. Driver (Paul) was terrific and very friendly atmosphere on trolley. You learn about wine making and the history of the area. You get a lunch (nothing special) but can order additional food at several locations. With the tasting fees and gratuities, it’s not an inexpensive day but we all had a great time and found it to be a memorable, special day.

Just came back from a wonderful day on the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley! Paul was incredible, and was gracious enough to take the time to give me tips for a different trip I am taking later this summer, in addition to being a great guide on this tour. I've done a number of wine tours in different areas of California, and I have to say that my favorite has been the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley. Highly recommend!

There were 6 of us that came in from AZ to experience the Sonoma wine country. The Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley was an awesome experience and our tour guide, Paul, did an exceptional job of giving history during the whole day of the tour. This was a great way to explore wineries while learning about Sonoma!

Really enjoyed our tour! We had the bad luck of it being cold and rainy so it was pretty disappointing that we had the 'van' instead of the actual trolley, but the van was at least very comfortable (and apparently quite a bit faster than the trolley, ha). Our guide was great, and we got to visit four different wineries...and of course not worry about driving anywhere ;)Just a warning, though - and something I didn't realize/think about before booking - we had about an hour and a half at each winery, but of course the tasting takes at most a third of that time - so if you or someone in your party isn't a huge wine person (I am, my partner is not), it can be a bit much. I think if we had gone to some different wineries this would have been more palatable, but only the first one we went to (BR Cohn) had space to walk around, beautiful views, etc. Thankfully one of the other ones we visited (Mayo Family Winery) included some time learning about their production process :)The included lunch (a panini, some potato salad, chips, and gelato) was very good, though the "prosciutto" panini wasn't actually prosciutto, just ham. Again, not a big deal, but it should have been advertised for what it was, haha.Overall, we had a great experience, and I WOULD suggest doing this tour (especially as we did it during a holiday week and I know there's a chance some vineyards/wineries weren't open, or maybe not amenable to tour groups), but my suggestion to the tour company would be that, due to the amount of time spent at each stop, to try to have a better balance between vineyards/wineries that have the space and views etc. to explore with ones that are smaller and less, shall we say, picturesque.

What an adventurous and fun-filled day! It was a great way to spend the day after Christmas, and what a wonderful group of people! The folks at the wineries were equally as wonderful. We really enjoyed ourselves. Our driver, Dennis, was fantastic, as well. My partner and I really enjoyed talking to him. I will recommend Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley to anyone making a trip to NorCal. If it's chilly or overcast, be sure to bundle up and enjoy a ride on the open-air part of the trolley! Great overall value!

Wine Trolley was above and beyond expectations. Driver, Dennis (?) was very personable and knowledgeable regarding wineries and what to expect along the way in addition to a little history about the area and vineyards.

This was a pretty fun experience, the driver was entertaining and it was great mingling with other travelers. The only real downside was the wineries we went to weren't the best. We only enjoyed the wine at one of the wineries.
