We were so happy to find good, affordable breakfast in Sonora. Our bed and breakfast would have charged us $50 for two, and another restaurant in town came to $42. This diner came in at $25, and we did order extra eggs and meat.Cute interior, I really liked touches like the 60's paint-by-numbers. My husband noticed a really cool vintage 50's electric guitar on the wall. We had the WHOLE DAMN place to ourselves. Another reviewer noted the owners are Asian and therefore can't cook American traditional foods. Um, Korean owned diners are definitely a thing in California, much like the Greek owned diners in NYC. And we're foodies, and we thought this breakfast was good.

Nice local place. Good food the few times I've been there. The location is right in town too so good if you're just passing by.

Exceptional spot to grab something when in a rush. Their service is fast, rates are reasonable, good mood. Will visit here again

Nice waitress, dark and dingy, plant vines with dead leaves directly over table, small pancakes, syrup so thick it was stringy.

My daughter and I had perfectly cooked breakfasts. Hashbrowns were cooked, not half done like other places. Scrambled eggs were moist. Too many breakfast places dry them out. Chicken fried steak was yummy. Good sausages. Friendly service and fair prices. We will return!

No one here dining...food was greasy, flavorless....unattractive decor like a sushi bar...loud country music...NO THANKS, next time somewhere else

According to a local we met at dinner this was a new place to check out. There are better places in town to eat breakfast I would not recommend coming here. Price wise it is reasonable until you see what you get. My husband wanted the ribeye but they were sold out so he got the New York. Wow it was the thinnest and stingiest piece of meat. Since we both ordered no potatoes and he doesn't eat toast. The eggs and thin steak looked even more sad. For $15 before tip and tax he was still hungry. This wasn't even more than 2 oz since it was paper thin. It was like shabu meat grilled. Yeah. I ordered the omelette but even that was tiny. I normally never finish my food but this one left me hungry. The interior looked like an old Japanese sushi restaurant but it was supposed to be a diner. You can see they didn't spend much on remodeling which is fine but the food quality and portion were both not good. If you are hungry don't come here. The steak was the worst thing we had in Sonora.

Horrible - we should have walked out right after we sat down. Food was so greasy. Looks like it used to be a sushi place. Looked clean so that's a positive I guess.

So disappointed and should have gone off our instinct when we noticed hardly any customers in the restaurant. We were greeted abruptly and although they had only breakfast on their menu so we were hopeful that since it was a limited menu the food would be good. Boy were we disappointed! The hash browns were burnt, the toast tasted dry and old, one of the omelettes were drenched in oil, the waffle was flat and over cooked. Even the ketchup tasted of bbq sauce. Total disappointment and we will never return.
