The people here are honestly so nice and genuine they are a small business, so if you are ever craving Hainan Chicken Rice or Roasted Duck, their prices are very reasonable and taste DELICIOUS, so come support them please. Can't believe they serve such authentic Chinese food here. I believe it is a family own business.It is definitely a hidden gem !!!! Soooo good and affordable plus staffs are so friendly. I loved the unique pear drink that they have.

I love that there is a Cantonese restaurant in El Monte. The place is very affordable. I came here today specifically for their soy sauce chicken. I got the half size for $15. The gentleman managing the counter and the restaurant is really nice. He also speaks Cantonese and English so no language barrier. Definitely be back for their duck and roasted pork.

12.o7.2o23 Canton comfort food to cure my craving. We are so happy to discover this place close to home. Now, we don't need to travel all the way to Monterey Park or Alhambra, even though they're not even that far away! Lol No pictures of the togo food since our tummy couldn't wait. Basically, they separate the noodles that came with soup or sauce, which was awesome. The food also came with hot sauce for each order. It is soooo spicy! But it tastes really good! I hate it and love it. I know my butt won't like it...ha ha ha

I got the half hainan chicken and rice. I didn't know that the half hainan chicken would not come with rice but they have rice to me for free after I realized and asked. I thought the chicken was extra boney but it was good and the dipping sauces were great. Actually really liked the yellow rice too contrary to some other reviewers.

Nice setting. It gives it the Hong Kong feel. The wait was like 45 minutes. The food was good. I didn't like the bun with pork meat. It felt a little heavy but that's personal preference. The tables seemed a little smaller. More like cafe tables . I would come again.
It's ok. You pay for what you get. The hainam rice is cheaper than other reatraunts, but you get all bones. It taste good, but come on, throw some meatty chicken in there. 2 stars for great taste and great service, -3 stars for skimping the good parts of the chicken. Prob will not be coming back.

We like to order their braised pork with vegetable rice and bbq pork with hainam chicken rice. They're always friendly and welcoming. Good place for a quick to go; we've never sat and eaten here before.
