One word, "excellent pho." The pho tastes so delicious here. Service here are friendly and comfortable. My favorite dishes are Pho Kobe and BBQ Pork with steamed broken rice. Most dishes are good. Lastly, desserts here are also good and include the coffee. They also welcome feedback :)

This place is my go-to pho spot when I can drive a bit farther out. The pho broth has that sweet complexity I look for. Service is prompt and there were more servers than I usually saw. I always get my staples of the fried egg rolls and spring rolls with my pho. They even let you buy these giant beef bones where you suck the tender meat out of.

There are many places in El Monte for Pho', but this is my favorite. They have Kobe meat, and it's delicious on a cold rainy day. The service is very good. The restaurant is a decent size, not too small.

Bro the pho here is so fire. Flavorful, yet not too salty or loaded with MSG. I ordered the beef marrow bones... bro there was so much food. Very friendly service. Food came out very quick Highly recommend asking for their chili oil. My favorite pho place in the area. I always eat here when I'm in town visiting my parents

We always feel at home. I've tried others but nothing will ever compare to the authenticity of Vietnamese food, I was able to feel comfortable in trying avocado slush and believe me.... Sooooo delicious. After tasting so many chili oils from different restaurants in different area codes and grocery stores will never compare to this amazing establishment. The service is amazing and only gets better.

Very nice bowl of pho. The broth is rich and flavorful enough even if you don't mix in any hoisin and sriracha sauce. Generous amount of meat (rare steak, flank, brisket, tendon, tripe). The only difference between #1 and #2 is that #1 has lean beef flank while #2 has fatty beef flank. Not on the menu: during lunch hours (12 to around 2 pm), you can order a gargantuan plate of two beef bone marrows for merely $8.50! This a lot of meat for tendon lovers; I'm a big eater, and even I had trouble finishing this huge plate by myself. The service was very friendly and attentive. Their front counter faces the entire dining room, so you won't have trouble catching staff's attention. Staff refilled my ice water on their own. When my waiter noticed how my pho's soup has gone cold (a bit of fatty oil has congealed in the soup as I was busy struggling with the bone marrow), he proactively offered to add a bowl of piping hot soup to warm up my bowl. I appreciate that kind of service, especially at a pho restaurant. You do have to go up to the counter to pay your check, but that's not an issue. There's plenty of parking space in the large plaza. There are two restrooms in clean condition.

My new go to spot in the SGV for good quality pho. The broth is always consistent, not too overly salty or loaded with MSG. The portions here are massive so if you're not very hungry definitely recommend getting a small, it's like medium or large at most places. They are very generous with their noodles and meat so that's a plus. The servers here and quick and efficient. Once you finish your meal you go to the front to pay.

Pho Hai is a Vietnamese restaurant that truly delivers on both the food and service fronts. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're greeted with warm smiles and attentive service from the staff. But let's talk about the food. The menu at Pho Hai is filled with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, including classic favorites like pho noodle soup, banh mi sandwiches, and vermicelli bowls. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there's something for everyone on the menu. One of the standout dishes at Pho Hai is their namesake pho noodle soup. The broth is rich and flavorful, with tender slices of beef or chicken and a variety of fresh herbs and spices. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food. But what really sets Pho Hai apart is the level of service. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a great dining experience. Whether you need a recommendation on what to order or have a special request, they are more than happy to accommodate.Overall, if you're looking for a great Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service, Pho Hai is definitely worth checking out.

This place has been here for some time, it is a must go and have their pho, super good and they do not hold on noddles or meat like most places do now. I don't mind traveling 12 miles to come down here! You should give it a try, it won't disappoint.
