I have been wanting to give this place a try for a while due to the great reviews but unfortunately I was let down. We had chips and guacamole which when the owner offered it to us it sounded like it was complimentary (but was added to our bill) it was actually good though. I ordered the enchilada plate. The beans taste like canned beans, the rice had no flavor and some of the pieces were still undercooked. The enchiladas were ok, I added their house salsa to it which was really good so that made them better. My daughter had carne asada tacos. They were super chewy, she didn't want to eat them. My son got the chicken tenders with fries, they weren't that great. My husband got the ceviche, he didn't care for it. I really had high hopes for this place especially since some nights they have live music and I was hoping I would become a regular. But with the disappointment of the food, I don't think I will be back.

Brought my wife for a bday dinner. I had the ceviche mixto. It was over priced for the poor quality you get. My wife had the enchiladas. She mentioned they were alright. My daughter had Carne asada tacos. We had them remove the tacos from the bill because the meat was so chewy! Yuk! My son got the chicken tenders. That seemed to be the best plate we ordered lol .

I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and egg. It was a big size and well seasoned. Open it up and you realize that it is mostly potato. I don't think they use more than one egg and they sprinkle a bit of bacon. All for $13 bucks. Not for me.

I am so happy I came to this place! They had a nice happy Hour (till 7:00pm!!). I went on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was quiet, but it was great to get to talk with my friends without having to yell over music or anything. They have large TVs on, and the Dodger Game was on display by the bar area. We got the Michelada flight, and they were delicious. I thought we were going to need more, but the flight was enough for two to share, since we were not trying to get tipsy. The fries were good, had a lot of toppings. We ordered garlic fries and they brought out a different plate. It looked so appetizing, we didn't bother sending them back and just enjoyed them. My friend also ordered Fresas can Creme and they came in a cute martini glass. When I got my check, I was so relieved with the amount. They have a good size parking lot too. Im definitely going to come back. I don't know if it gets busy on the weekends but they have 90min. $20 Bottomless mimosas, so I would assume it does.

I want to start off by saying I came in for breakfast on Super Bowl Sunday, the place was EMPTY so I assumed it was closed at first. My boyfriend is skeptical of places that are empty, he assumed it must not be good if no one was in there but us. BOY WAS HE WRONG, the service was excellent & our food was even better! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would, the margaritas are great & my food portions were perfect as I was starving. I regret not taking pictures of our food for reference, the chilaquiles plate was AMAZING! Maclovia's has earned a place in our hearts, we will definitely be coming back.

We decided to try this restaurant based on the positive yelp reviews. There is a great selection of food and drinks. The waiter/owner was very welcoming and polite. The food was delicious. There is a kids menu available as well. Great portions for the price you are paying. Definitely recommend you give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

We went for their Valentine's special and it was def a good deal! queso fundido, prime rib plate, salmon plate, fruit tart dessert, two beers and two mezcalitas for $100. We also got the sope trio, empanadas and a side of rice. I don't think anything wasn't good or lacking. We also had two old fashioneds and a mojito, because yes, they have an actual BAR, not just beer and wine! haha! We had also gone for breakfast before and the only complaint was that the french toast didn't seem to have cinnamon, which is maybe how it's usually made, but we like cinnamon. Anyhow, I hope this place sticks around so go try it out! oh, as for the prices, they're average for what you pay to eat out these days I think.
