“After putting it off for a long time, I finally made it here. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and didn't try to rush us to place our order. I chose the DUI while my wife ordered the birria tacos. I was surprised that she preferred the tacos here to the ones from Tacos El Goloso since I find those tacos pretty darn slammin' but she said these tacos were milder and suited her tastebuds better. As long as she's happy right? I wasn't as crazy about my choice. The DUI was just too salty. Everything from the pastrami and bacon bits to the dog itself. There wasn't anything to balance out the sodium overload. I was glad I ordered it on the lobster roll though since the larger/thicker bun probably helps keep the ingredients together better than just a plain bun. I think next time I'll go a bit more basic with a house dog or elote dog and see how that works out. The garlic fries with the dip were very good. My highlight though was the churro. It could have been bigger for $3 but horchata whipped cream dip they provide you with is KILLER. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I'm more than willing to try something different next time. I really need to try the dirty corn or esquite next time around to see how they do with that. Parking in this shopping center can be problematic. Not that it's that hard to find a space, unless you're trying to park by the 99 cent store but the problem is this center seems to be the gathering spot for the worst drivers in Gardena. This wasn't my first rodeo here and I can testify that 30% of the drivers here are blind, high, decrepit, or stupid. Be very careful navigating this parking lot. If possible, park closer to the Bruddah's restaurant and avoid the loonies pulling into/out of Starbucks, the Habit, and the 99 cent store. They do not pay attention or they think they always have the right of way. The worst are the old people driving the beat up tanks from the 70s. Beware my friends, beware.“

“This is a little burger place. It's a little bit bigger than a shack. But it's pretty small. They have old school diner barstools around the counter on the outside, and three covered picnic tables. The menu is small. But it's pretty classic.I got a Bixby Double Combo. The fries were good and cooked well. The burger had thick slices of American cheese, onions, tomatoes, and 1000 island dressing. The burger was tasty. But it's nothing like In-n-Out, as some of the reviews said. It's a well made basic burger. The service was fast and pleasant. It's a neat little place. Unfortunately, it has limited hours (10-6 m-sat), so I won't have many opportunities to come back. But if i'm in the mood for a burger at lunch near home, I'd come back. It was pretty good and the price was fair.“

“I heard about Jugos Naturales through word of mouth. I decided to pay the establishment a visit. When I entered the restaurant it reminded me about the mom n pop shops aesthetic found in Mexico. Very vibrant colors and many pictures of the food they sell. The two ladies working the establishment were very kind and did not rush us when we looked over the menu. We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. The food overall was delicious. I'd also like to add that the serving sizes are generous and their food is made to order. Will I be returning? No doubt. Thanks Jugos Naturales!“

“My visit to 88 Hotdog was an unexpectedly delightful culinary adventure, especially for someone with a penchant for creatively crafted fast food. Nestled in a bustling, crowded area where parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt, this gem stands out for its unique offerings and commendable service.Starting with the mozzarella corn dog, it was a standout in both size and flavor, offering great value for its price. The corn dog was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, stretchy mozzarella center that was both satisfying and indulgent. It’s the kind of treat that brings a smile to your face with each bite, blending the nostalgic essence of a classic corn dog with a cheesy twist that elevates it to a whole new level. The adventure didn't stop there; the yogurt drinks were a revelation in their own right. I indulged in a variety of flavors - peach, mango, blueberry, and pineapple - each one more refreshing and flavorful than the last. These drinks had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, with the fruit flavors shining through beautifully. They were not just good; they were exceptional, adding a refreshing contrast to the savory richness of the corn dog.The service at 88 Hotdog deserves a special mention. Despite the crowded location, the employee was friendly, efficient, and quick to serve, making the overall experience even more pleasant. It's always a breath of fresh air to encounter service that is both warm and competent, especially in fast-paced environments. While the parking situation and crowded surroundings might deter some, the culinary delights and the cheerful service at 88 Hotdog make it well worth the effort. It's a small price to pay for the joy of biting into a delicious mozzarella corn dog and sipping on exquisitely flavored yogurt drinks. For anyone in the area or those willing to brave the parking challenge, 88 Hotdog is a must-visit spot that promises a satisfying and tasty experience.“

I got an American style Corndog with half mozzarella and half sausage with ketchup and mustard. Then my side was dirty fries without hot Cheeto powder. Finally, I got a Fruit Punch Slush for my drink. The food was cooked to order and tasted good. For my own taste, as much as I love cheese, probably would just get all sausage next time. The "dirty fries" were fine. Not my favorite, but crispy, which is always good. The slush tasted really good actually. It is sweet, but I liked it. Service was great. Prices seem fair. “This is a long overdue review actually - I can back when it first opened and when even the name was different. It was the first korean corndog place to open in LA so hype was definitely there. My girlfriend and I finally made the trip to K-Town to visit this place and there was a bit of a line. But once you're in, getting your food isn't too bad. They have it made to order too so you will have to wait a bit always - but you get it while it's fresh! Selection is fair - we got a classic and one with cheese. Both were good and I highly recommend to get it with sugar because that's what makes it special. my girlfriend prefers the breading on the Korean corndogs because it's not as thick and bready as American ones. The sauce options are pretty decent, but the go to for me is always just ketchup & mustard. Overall it's a good staple, but I don't see this specific spot as a huge wow factor in terms of taste.“

“Can Mustard's "cut the mustard"? Yes, they can!I like hot dogs like I do my burgers - dragged through the garden. Give me all the onions, tomatoes, pickles & other accoutrement you can put on them. Mustard's has been bookmarked by me for a long while, and the occasion popped up where a visit was what was in order.Mustard's Chicago Style Eatery has all the trappings of a donut shop (donuts, coffee drinks, smoothies, sandwiches). But, the main draw is their Chicago menu, complete with beer & wine. Knowing a Chicago dog was a must, I also ordered an Italian beef to make sure I didn't leave hungry.Char-broiled Chicago dog-Made with a Vienna Beef dog inside a poppy seed bun, topped with pickle, tomatoes, onions, hot sport peppers, mustard, celery salt & neon green relish. Good dog! Never been to Chicago, but I believe Mustard's Chicago dog is a good facsimile, thereof.Italian beef-The highlight for me, especially with the giardiniera (ask for it). Had a difficult time choosing this or their Philly cheesesteak, but happy with my decision. Mustard's Italian beef had some heft to it, and I enjoyed every bite of the sumptuous sandwich. Dipping into the au jus at first, I later doused the sandwich into the stuff, making sure to sop up any au jus left on the wax paper, just so nothing goes to waste. Delicious!Service was good. The staff were friendly, and the wait was minimal. Ample seating inside, including tables which have a checkers board on them, for dining entertainment. The decor has Chicago memorabilia on the walls, and a TV to view the latest ball game. Parking is via a private lot, located in the Maderas Steakhouse plaza.Fuhgeddaboutit! I'm looking forward to ordering the Philly Cheesesteak, next time. Mustard's Chicago Style Eatery appeased my appetite, and I enjoyed the characteristically unpretentious atmosphere. Gives character, in my opinion. Unlike a sterile franchise restaurant that has a rewards program w/ an app. The Chicago Dog & Italian beef warmed my tum-tum, and I'm salivating just thinking about a juicy Philly Cheesesteak.Highly recommend!“

I liked it... it was different..it was cheesier than a regular Mozzarella Stick that you get anywhere but I would have preferred for the stick to be filled and not half filled... its like you're only getting Half of what you're paying for.. thats my opinion but it was still flavorful and good. The customer Service was good. Again, I think it looks like a Ice Cream Shop but its a Elotes place Dominated by the Mozzarella Big Stick. Three of us got a double burger each and one medium - any other place but 5 Guys would call it large - order of fries, light (regular) on the Cajun spices. We got shakes, too. Gotta go for the complete experience. As expected, it was all delicious. Easy access to 5 Guys restaurant from outside the mall or inside. Go get 'em!“

Chilaquiles Rojos Con Huevo

“Tacos are tiny (like two bites), but so delicious!! Cash only. Accepted Zelle for us. We got 2 tacos, burrito, cebolla/jalapeño (so delicious), piña juice for $10. Love that this place is still affordable. Ambiance? They park at a car wash so there is tons of parking options at night. There is also ample street parking. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating. Service was fast. I thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return.“
