Been coming here since I moved to South Gate in 2011... their menudo has saved me from so many crudas since then. No matter what you crave always take a mulita on the side (I recommend Al pastor). Family owned business that bust their butts to satisfy customers.

Looking to get some great food food? I've been patronizing La Taquiza since 2004 under its former owner. I really liked the dishes from the first time. So much so I used to plot on how I could have La Taquiza as part of my kitchen and just eat there. The new owner didn't change one thing, taste wise, which is great. You can't go wrong eating here.

The food was bad, been here twice (thought I'd give it a second chance), ordered shrimp fajitas and this is what they look like. These fajitas never touched a grill. Seems like they just boiled everything and threw it onto my plate. They are tasteless even with the included dipping sauce. Will I ever eat here again? Chances of a tornado touching down in South Gate seem more likely.

The Menudo was horrible.The carne quesadilla was just cheese and pastrami.It took 10 min before anyone came to take my order at the order window.Very Disappointed.

I know this place since the beginning it was great but with time they are gradually going down I don't know if they are on their new management but service are very poor.The food it's very good but customer service it's very frustrating.I think it's time to make a decision if it's really worth it to it at this place.Customer service needs a gigantic upgrade and I hope the management do something about it.
