Very bad service, bad food, rude server. I as a customer understand it's not a fast food restaurant but it's insane how much time it takes just for the server to even come to our table and take our order. we as customers come to have a good time with good food but this restaurant always fails to make requirements meet. Food is not as good as it used to be and sometimes even cold after we've been waiting 20+ minutes

First time trying this place and let's just say I'm very disappointed. A simple caldo de Pollo was burnt and barely any chicken. You're better off going to the other place down the street called LA Praviana. Better quality food. Also why add surcharge when you're paying cash? I undetand if youre paging with credit card but cash? Why?

First time here so I haven't tried everything on the menu. The fried yucca with pork was very very good. Both the yucca and pork were cooked to perfection and was worth $11.50 - great portion and ate it as an entree although it's listed as an appetizer. The salpicón was tasty but small on the portion size for $18.50. The Ambiance on the first floor was very nice and not too loud despite having a bar - they also have a second floor which I imagine is a little quieter. Note that they charged a 'Restaurant surcharge' of about 10% of the total - not sure what that's for... Definitely try the fried or regular yucca with pork - Delicious!

I don't understand why the waitress told me to wait outside as if I were begging. In other restaurants they allow me to sit while I wait for the order and I came from a distance walking and had swollen feet and they allow me to sit.

The food in this place has not changed! The food is amazing! The service still lacking but I knew that coming in as I have in the past. The place was full as usual. If you don't expect fast or good customer service you will not go wrong with the food. The horchata brings me back to my happy places with my mom, may she rest in peace. The ambiance was busy and you can tell people were enjoying their food. The pupusas weren't greasy and the flavor was spot on whether revueltas or queso con loroco. Outside there was this vendor selling mangos verdes I can't even write about it without drooling. Again bringing me happy memories to smile and laugh about. This is definitely the place to go to celebrate my mom's life and Salvadoran heritage.

Was kind of iffy walking in cuz we saw a dry dead rat driving in but I thought it’s not in the door but service was bad and it’s wasn’t even busy. As an ate food taste was ok but the was a beetle on my rice so I complained n got bruised off to leave n they still wanted us to pay for a Portion of the food. Clearly they have to talk to there staff to practice some people skills and clean up the place.

I've been coming to this location for about 2-3 years now. I go here about 2 times a month and every time I go I always order my order in advance. The women that work there have no respect or manners when it comes to answering the phone and hang up the phone immediately. They don't even repeat the order to see if it's correct. My last order they got it wrong and there was also hair in my food. They gave me two complimentary pupusas for the inconvenience, BUT THEY ALSO GAVE ME MY COMPLIMENTARY ORDER WRONG. They have also started included a 10% "Service Charge" fee on top of the taxes we are already paying. I asked one of the employees what that charge was and she states it was to cover the medical expenses for the workers. WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY SOMETHING THE BUSINESS OWNER CAN PAY, specially with the ridiculous prices they are charging. Definitely won't be coming back specially with the bad attitude a few of the workers have. Would prefer going to a different pupuseria with better customer service. THE OWNER ALSO OWNS THE SONSONATE ON AVALON AND 43rd and also charges a surcharge fee there aswell. Every review states a different excuse given by an employee. He estado viniendo a este lugar por unos 2 o 3 años. Voy aquí unas 2 veces al mes y cada vez que voy siempre hago mi pedido por telefono. Las mujeres que trabajan allí no tienen respeto ni modales a la hora de contestar el teléfono y cuelgan el teléfono inmediatamente. Ni siquiera repiten la order para ver si es correcto. En mi último pedido se equivocaron y también había pelos en mi comida. Me regalaron dos pupusas de cortesía por las molestias, PERO TAMBIÉN ME Dieron esa orden incorrecta También comenzaron a incluir una tarifa de "Cargo por servicio" del 10% además de los impuestos que ya estamos pagando. Le pregunté a una de las empleadas cuál era ese cargo y me dijo que era para cubrir los gastos médicos de los trabajadores. ¿POR QUÉ TENEMOS QUE PAGAR ALGO QUE EL DUEÑO DEL NEGOCIO PUEDE PAGAR, especialmente con los precios ridículos que están cobrando? Definitivamente no volveré especialmente con la mala actitud que tienen algunos de los trabajadores. Preferiría ir a una pupusería diferente con mejor servicio al cliente. EL TAMBIÉN ES DUEÑO DEL SONSONATE EN AVALON Y 43 y también cobra un recargo allí. Cada reseña indica una excusa diferente dada por un empleado.

Terrible service, terrible food and apart from very expensive prices. They charge you for eating in the restaurant about 10% of the consumption, apart from taxes. I ordered a grilled fish fillet and it was soaked in oil, a salad and it looked like it was already days old because the fruit was soggy. I told the waitress and she told me that the service and charges are like that. I do not recommend this place and for my part I will never go again. Lousy restaurant.

The food has changed a lot, it is no longer enjoyable as before, it has dropped from 10 to 3%the charges are exaggeratedNot even if it were a VIP, the owner only asks for cash to be paid and there is the ATM for cards and there he charges too much.
