All I need to say is we came back a lot and even brought pints home. The mint chocolate chip is a favorite for all three of us, and both the coffee and green tea were wonderful with rich flavors you could taste in every bite.

Stellar service with delicious ice cream!My husband and I had just had a bad experience trying to get some simple ice cream cones for our kids, down the road from here.We should have come to Aloha from the get-go.Ordering was quick and easy, the server was a nice, respectable lady and the ice cream was delicious!The kids got kid-sized vanilla ice cream in cups (which were actually kid-sized; not the humongous sugar bombs you get at most places) and hubby got a large container with 3 (generous) scoops which we shared. The rocky road flavour was to die for! The walnuts were waaaaay fresher than most nuts I get at the supermarket and the chocolate and vanilla flavours were excellent and fresh too.We will come here again. Thank you Aloha!

How can you mess up ice cream? You can't really so that is why it is a great business for a tourist area. There are many flavors to choose from & they are written on the flavors board. They have sundaes , shakes, cones, cups and a really cool unique thing called ROLLED ice cream. Rolled ice cream is made by putting it on a cold slab mixing it with an ingredient or two, smoothing it out and then using a metal spatula, rolling it into strips. It is placed like a floral arrangement in your cup. The upside it is really cool & fun to try, the downside is you get less than ordering regular ice cream. You decide. The sundaes are delicious but any flavor changes mean additional charges. The cones and cups are tasty. This ice cream shop is located in a small strip mall off the main drag in South Lake Tahoe below Freshees Restaurant . Not sure what makes it a dessert spa but does have some tasty treats. The place gets packed on the weekends I suspect in part due to it being featured in some online posts. It is a family run business that has a lot of efficient younger workers. The female boss is not as friendly. Despite that we will return. The shop inside has seating for 8 at a picnic table and four stools facing outside at a counter. So mostly it is a grab and go place. Need a sweet treat? Take it to go & head to the lake

Aloha Ice Cream and Desserts is a happening spot. They offer all types of ice cream and the new hit ice cream "rolled up." I got the butter pecan which is always good. Furthermore, we tried the rolled up ice cream. You can watch the process as the workers flatten your ice cream, and then roll it up. It looks cool, but my preference is just the regular old scoop in a cone. Thanks for some delicious desserts, aloha!

First time trying rolled ice cream! Rolled ice cream tastes a little more creamier then the hand scooped ice cream. So every bite is super delicious! If your coming to Lake Tahoe you need to try their creamy rolled ice cream.

There are quite a few choices - regular ice cream in a cup or cone (waffle or sugar), sundaes, milkshakes and rolled ice cream bowls.The interior of the ice cream shop leaves something to be desired. There is limited seating inside and outside, but a park is across the street.Despite the shortcomings, people love ice cream. This spot is super popular. You can expect a line, but it moves quickly.

Its Simply the best! I love traveling to South Lake Tahoe and when I discovered this place I was so happy:) they got the best rolled ice creams now it's my favorite place to get ice cream in tahoe:) . Pricy but I think it's worth it:). Great staff. Definitely recommend.

The older lady at cashier doesn’t know good service. Everyone else is cool. They gave us a hard brownie. I showed her how hard it was and she looked mad. We are locals and we’ll be going to cool beans from now on. Better service there.

I usually don't give one star rewiews. I will never return to this place, i don't think they care since everyone who works there is so arrogant especially, the that lady manager/supervisor. It took them about 10 minutes to get a couple scoops of ice cream. The ice cream were pre-made! There no reason to wait that long. There were so many employees but they were just wondering around. The employees were so rude and had attitude. There is something wrong with the person who took the order. I ordered ice cream with cone and they gave me one without it. Very disappointed.
