GREAT little bakery! The lines were always long which only shows to prove how great they are! The staff were all super nice and efficient. We waited about 10 mins to order and about 5 minutes for the food and drink. I ordered the iced mocha and it was so creamy and yummy. I also got the bagel breakfast sandwich which comes with egg, bacon, and cream cheese spread. I got the sea salt bagel and I feel like the salty of the bagel mixed with the sweet of the cream cheese was perfect! Chef kiss. I also love have they have tons of gluten free options and several drink adaptations that can be made (almond milk, coconut milk, etc...). Overall it was great and you're bound to find something that works for you !

Absolute gem. We stopped for breakfast before hiking. The selections are so great it was hard to decide on pastries or hardy breakfast sandwiches. We ultimately went with the bagel and lox as well as the bagel breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. Next time I will have to try the pastries. It's a must stop location for breakfast.

Great food. You have to try the bacon egg croissant for breakfast. All their sweet and savory items looked heavenly. We tried the coffee cake and apple pie croissant and absolutely loved it. The service was a bit slow but not too bad. The place is quite popular.

If you're big into pastries like me, you've got to check out Crazy Good Bakery and Cafe. I swung by last weekend and was seriously impressed, especially with their lox bagels and chocolate croissants. The lox bagel is where it's at. The bagel itself is just the right mix of chewy and fluffy, and they don't skimp on the lox - it's super smooth and piled high. They top it off with some zesty cream cheese, capers, and red onions which give it a great little kick. Now, the chocolate croissant? Absolute perfection. It's flaky, buttery, and not too sweet, letting the rich, melty chocolate stand out. As someone who's tried a lot of croissants, I can tell you these are top-notch. Crazy Good Bakery and Cafe really nails it on quality and vibe. It's the perfect spot to chill and treat yourself to some seriously good eats. Whether you're a pastry pro or just in the mood for a tasty breakfast, you won't be disappointed.

These are some of the best pastries I've ever had. it even tasted better than pastries in Germany, and I never thought I would find any pastries better than Germany.

pictures dont do the justice of how FANTASTIC their pastries are, the photos i attached are from two separate days but they were so GASS both times, I stopped by this cafe with friends on a tahoe trip, and the first time i had these ham and cheese croissants I was so delighted, they warmed them up for me in a microwave but they were so warm and crispy and you could see the layers of the dough, OH!! there was also seasoning on top of the croissants they were so flavorful and the ham and cheese were the perfect amount. I had to go back the next day before i left to go home from the trip. Not pictured: I also ordered an iced latte with some flavor syrups (almond + vanilla) and it was really delicious, my friends got a chai and apple cider and both were good! the chai is a little less sweeter, so they added cinnamon syrup to their order which helped! we also got some bagels which were really good too and an almond croissant which was GASS it had this almond paste filling kind of like marzipan and had some almonds and powdered sugar topped on it, super flaky, and the filling was nutty, and sweet! Service was quick and really nice, the prices were surprisingly really great, a large iced coffee is like 5$ (im used to 7-8$ small coffees from LA/Bay Area lol). Inside is quaint but cozy ! theres two large tables and a few smaller tables inside the cafe, would totally come back again next time i visit Tahoe

If you are a tourist looking for a good pastry spot I would definitely recommend Crazy Good Bakery Cafe. The shop is small but very cozy and enough tables and chairs to sit down, the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Apple Strudel and the Chocolate Croissant and they were both delicious.

We ordered half the pastries/baked goods and loved every single one of them. The croissants are so flakey and buttery. The chocolate cake was rich and not too overwhelming. Their bagels were so freaking soft and delicious. They had St. Patricks Day specials with a irish coffee foam (w/ alcohol) & a corned beef croissant (which was our favorite). Hands down our favorite place we stopped by when we were in Tahoe!

We ordered a smoked lox sandwich and after putting in the order about 10 minutes later we were told they were out of lox (which was the most expensive item.) They asked if we wanted something else and said they could make a veggie sandwich but we're also out of avocado. so I got a lettuce tomato cucumber sandwich for $15. when I mentioned the price difference including the lack of avocado on the sandwich the girl said its only like a dollar difference, reached into her tip jar and pulled out a dollar and said you can have this if it makes a difference to you. I said it's ok. the baked goods were good but felt like they could have offered me money back or a coffee to go with it to make up the cost difference.

This place is amazing! One of, if not the best bakery in Tahoe. Great coffee and breakfast options, and of course a great selection of baked goods! The staff is super friendly and the place has a great vibe! I will definitely be back!

We were in town for a week and this was hands down the best breakfast place we ever had. We loved it. The pastries were hot and fresh as were the lattes. First encounter all week of a gluten free muffin offering. We will definitely return back here for breakfast when we come to visit for our Tahoe ski trips.

A Gem for Pastry Lovers This bakery is a true gem for anyone with a sweet tooth. The moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh pastries like Chocolate Croissants, Almond Croissants, Apple Fritters, Bear Claws, and Blueberry Danish fills the air, each more delicious than the last. Not only are the pastries divine, but the service is outstanding, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. They open on time, ensuring every treat is fresh out of the oven. The cozy seating inside adds to the charm, making it the perfect spot for a morning indulgence or a sweet afternoon break.

My favorite bakery in South Lake Tahoe. I always try and do something different when I go there. This time I had a spicy vege fritata. It was EXCELLENT! Come here if you are looking to support a local bussiness and get your breakfast fix! The service at this place is always top notch! Very inviting and friendly staff! They also have a fun gift store inside. I picked up a beanie with their logo.
