Great service! Ample dining area for large or smaller groups. Make your own dish and they cook it for you. So if you aren't satisfied blame yourself! I wish they had shrimp as part of their protein options. I was surprised you can make hamburgers and hotdogs they provide the bread at the cooking time. And the bread is nicely toasted.

When we first came in, we were really excited. We waited for around an hour after the host said it would be around a 30 min wait. Our server was nice however the hosts were constantly on their phone and seemed uninterested in helping customers. After we sat down with our food, the noodles was crunchy, the meat was undercooked, the sauce was thrown on to the food which only got a little bit of sauce on one side of the food. We took around 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore so we kindly told our server that we did not enjoy the food. She went to talk to the manager and came back with our check. There were 4 of us and we still had to pay $63 when no one touched half of their food. By the way the dinner price is $32.99 per person. Overall it was really bad.

Sorry this is long-winded but I need to be fair to this restaurant and explain why I give it such a poor rating. It's really hard for me to give a restaurant a 1 out of a 5 rating, so I'll make it quick and number them. 1. Crowded on the night we went. The atmosphere was claustrophobic. (They could not handle the volume of people they had seats for).2. They undercooked half my food and overlooked the other half, twice!3. Their bar is poorly managed. The draft beer temperature is too high and foamy, the bartenders are not attentive or quick enough either. By the time you get back to your table, your drinks are warm. 4. Finally, my wife was sick with GI symptoms about 6 hours after we ate. That strongly suggests food poisoning but I can't confirm that because we did not go to the hospital. That is unacceptable. Somebody who lives 200 miles away like We Do should not even have travelers diarrhea from being in the same region. On a positive note, our waitress was fantastic. She was both sympathetic and responsive.

Like many others, I came to Tahoe for a vacation. The service was great and my family and I grabbed a seat around the fire pit. I had a great time, but WOW, I forgot how expensive it was to drink in California!

Im staying at the marriott timber lodge, came in yesterday around 4 pm to try their all you can eat grill menu. Host asked if I want to sit at bar so I said yes. Sat there for 15 minutes without acknowledgment from 2 bartenders. A group came in after me and seems like knew the staff and they were served drinks without anyone even saying a word to me or look me in the eye. I went back to host and asked if I can get a table and she said they dont have any. I just left and went to eat somewhere else. Only writing this review to alert management (if they care) as i’m in this industry myself. Terrible service lacking basics of hospitality.

First time going there and it wasn't bad. However, some of our food was semi burnt, but I could only think because it was one cook making everyone food. But the food still turned out pretty good. Next time I visit Tahoe, will most definitely go back.

This place is incredible. It is pricy but you get what you pay for. We came in with a group of 25 and they were able to accommodate us. The cooks were engaging and the interaction was a lot of fun. I wish they had a few more hazy IPAs on tap but they get. Pass because of the overall experience. This is my new "must go" experience when I to Tahoe.
Great food, cool concept, female bartender working the bar on 3/15/24 @ 2:15pm deserves a 0 star. Very rude and demeaning towards customers. Waiters/Cooks deserve a 5 star.

Yo. Who is the chef at this place? Considering the concept of this restaurant is similar to Mongolian BBQ meets benihana but man seeing all the proteins in such large chunky pieces instead of thinly sliced so the it takes a WHILE to cook a plate and then the sauces aren't even fully incorporated at the time of plating...rant over...aside from these things I mentioned everything was great.

We recently visited to celebrate a family member's birthday. The server immediately asked before seating us if it was our first time, the staff was nice to explain to us how it worked. The bowls look small but once cooked they are filling. The downside is with how busy they get the cleanliness lacks and limited seating space.
