Came here because we were in the mood for affordable Chinese food in the Lake Tahoe area and they did NOT disappoint!! The portions were perfect for sharing and the food came out so quick and it was hot! We absolutely love Hunan Garden. The service was amazing, they let you eat and peace and check in you actually need it (none of that checking 20x nonsense). The restaurant just gives of the homey feeling and you can just see that they prioritize good quality food over all the superficial things that other restaurants waste money on. Honestly we loved it and it's the best Chinese you can find in the area.

We came here for lunch. Super friendly service and decent quality Chinese food and reasonable prices in the Lake Tahoe area. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area. I love the Hunan Chicken Wings, and Hot & Sour Soup. Go try it out if you can take spicy ???FYI the restaurant is no longer doing buffet.

We liked the food over all and it all got eaten but for me the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken was too breaded and cheap American style Chinese food. Others loved them that way though. They were very accommodating and made my meal and fried rice for all with out onions. Several in our group said it was the best fried rice they ever had.

The food here is great I've had lunch and dinner and a bunch of take out from this restaurant the staff that run the restaurant give authentic Chinese cuisine experience. No it's not all blinged out and shiny like some mediocre Chinese restaurants the food speaks for itself. I love the food at this restaurant and Highly recommend to anyone who wants good food at a reasonable price and portions are generous. Come give them a try

After a long day of skiing, we ordered Chinese takeout and this restaurant was a minute away from our Airbnb! The order was ready when we arrived. We ordered a wide selection of items including combination chow fun, Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken, mu shu deluxe, Sze Chuan, hot and sour soup, and wonton soup. Everything was good.

My soda was hands down the best thing I had there. Just super cheap gross Chinese food, if that’s your thing have at it but it’s the kinda food you’d expect at a buffet or something. Prices aren’t terrible but you don’t get any meat with any of the meals just balls of corn starch heaped like chicken so it’s still isn’t worth

Favorite Chinese restaurant in Tahoe area. Unfortunately they no longer have their buffet, which was great, but the food is still as good. Lunch specials are $13 or $14. Great deal. Chow Fun is a great go. They are not stingy on portions.
