Whoa... Mind = BLOWN! What a fantasticc meal! I didn't know what to expect. The menu is primarily European, but that includes Germany, Russia, Italy, Poland, etc. I ordered Beef Stroganoff with spaetzle and it was the best I have ever had! Full salad bar, delicious homemade scratch soups. I saw another table order a pork shank that was massive! Friendly personalized service. Casual open dining room with a fireplace. If you don't know where to eat in South Lake Tahoe, this is the place!

The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was really flavorful. It was obviously made with love. They had several tables but our server, Jayme took really good care of us. I had the Chicken Parm, and my friend had the Beef Stroganoff. They both were the best we had ever tasted.

This place was incredible! The ambiance was very cute and decorated fantastically. The food and drinks were perfect. We had recently taken a trip to Germany and Austria and were looking for this kind of food. It did not disappoint by any means. Felt like we were back in Europe!The jägerschnitzel (mushroom cream sauce on schnitzel) was to die for. The red cabbage was some of the best I’ve ever had. The spätzle was different than we expected, but was REALLY good (might be a Czech version as the owners are from Czech Republic). The goulash was super tasty and we were happy to see that on the menu. Beer and gluhwein went perfectly with the meal. After we didn’t think we could eat any more, our server (the wife of the couple that owns it) told us she made it fresh that day. I couldn’t turn it down and I’m glad I didn’t because it was incredible.The service was great and the husband and wife that own it came around to check on us and to see how everything was. They were very sweet and friendly and we enjoyed our brief chat with them.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We will be back in the future for sure! Thank you!!

Please do yourself a favor and eat at Taste of Tahoe! The cuisine is mouth-wateringly delicious. So far I've ordered the Pork Jägerschnitzel and Beef Stroganoff, and they were out of this World. Plentiful quantity as well. Tried a bit of the Goulash and I know what I'm ordering next time :) The owners are very kind and welcoming folks. Looking forward to my next visit!
