We have been coming here since Day 1. Unfortunately, food quality has become too inconsistent lately.

Best chocolate chip walnut cookie in the world? Possibly. Jocelyn was beyond kind and generous to this first-time visitor. My family was grateful!

When customers order drinks with no ice, PLEASE just fill it up all the way, when business leave that little space it really rubs us the wrong way. Cutting corners, counting pennies…. Never experienced this under Bill’s ownership. Always a full drink. Also tempeh please marinate them longer, lacking flavor compared to before.

I have been wanting to have lunch at this cute little cafe for a while. I couldn't wait to try the roasted chicken sandwich to see if it tasted half as good as it looked in the pictures. It was next level delicious! The bread was outstanding, the chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the burrata and pesto were perfect additions. The portion was generous with the highest quality ingredients. I am looking forward to coming back and trying another sandwich, but it might be hard not to order the roasted chicken again as it is now my new favorite sandwich ever!

The sandwich was really good. I got the pork belly with fig jam. Except, I found a bug in my food and it was really gross. I know they have organic materials which is why i’m not super upset I just hope the staff is more careful in the future.

I have loved this little spot for more than a decade and have missed it since moving away from California but it was a number one on my list of places to come on a visit back. The quality has remained the same, and it did not disappoint! I went with my go-to short rib sandwich and it was all I remembered it to be! My tummy and tongue are so happy ❤️

I’ve tried contacting owners to resolve conflict with morning employee. This establishment has hired a homeless baker and her boyfriend sleeps In the black Chevy SUV while she’s at work. But he doesn’t sleep ! He’s loud, plays loud music and has threatened people on El Centro. The owners are aloof and don’t care. Business has no management. The owner Linda G lives overseas while their baker sleeps in a car. This post does not reflect on the food which is excellent. The one star is for INDIFFERENCE and APATHY. Basically what it boils down to, is The Owners don’t care about surrounding neighborhood and have no concern about people’s well being. Pay your baker a living wage , she deserves better. Oh , and food is good … however you will be greeted with a Cold frown from non motivated staff. No Italian DNA in this place whatsoever. Order to Go !

My first time there finally! a little confusing when you walk up you do have to scan the code to get a menu to order the gentleman there Jeffrey was extremely patient and helpful with me I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich with pesto and the short rib sandwich on homemade bread that they make their everyday I am going to tell you the food was so delicious thank you so much I truly enjoyed my meal. The lime bar was delicious with that graham cracker crust and that Tangy lime you nailed it. I am so happy with you all I will definitely be back thank you for being there.

I came here again after my first visit a week ago because I was craving their sandwiches and coffee all week..! First visit, we got their tuna and roasted chicken. Today we got the tuna again (because it's that good) and short rib. Everything seems so simple but you can tell everything is made fresh each day.

Their hours are from 11-3 only. They also only accept online orders. I had to sit under the hot sun to scan their code and enter my order on their website. There were 2 guys standing and directing everyone to order online. Their prices are high for a sandwich and a tiny little salad. The taste is mediocre. I ordered a salad that did not taste great; it was bland shredded chicken, some salad greens and a bit of olives (I asked them to hold the bacon and blue cheese). Even the salad dressing was bland and did not add any oomph to my boring salad. It was my first time there and probably the last.

Great local spot to fulfill my sandwich cravings. I've tried the Short Rib and Tempeh BLT so far. Both are delicious, though the Tempeh is my favorite for now. The bread is so soft and delicious! However, they don't toast the bread so eat your sandwich fast before it gets soggy. Sandwiches come with a side salad. I find it super filling just eating the salad and half the sandwich. Can't wait to try the other sandwiches. You can order online and pick up your order off the shelf outside upon arrival.

I love this place. The only drawback is I've gotten there late and they have run out of food.
