Service was nice but restaurant is ran down tables were sticky and food wasn't tasty. Got a lunch special soup was cold, salad was just chopped iceberg, fried rice was flavorless, and salty spicy pork chop had none of the green onions and jalapenos you expect. Overall disappointing. 2 stars because it was a good amount of food for little money. But I personally will never be back.

I went to this restaurant a while ago and ordered fried rice noodles. The food was great; however, it wasn't as "authentic" as I expected

Still a great Chinese Restaurant in my old neighborhood! It has been years since I last visited. I love the combination Shrimp, Chicken and Beef with Garlic Sauce a lot! So yummy! The Hot and Sour soup is still excellent as I remembered! New friendly owners now but the same recipes and the same cook. I'll be back.

Great food, love the sizzling rice soup and the Kung Pao Triple Delight of shrimp, beef, and chicken. Great service! Wendy the new owner is great!

I recently ordered some takeout and I was so disappointed. The quality wasn't the same at all, I've been coming here for years upon years since I was a child with my family and throughout the years there has been a few inconsistencies for sure but this last time made it so I don't know if I would return. First off starting with the egg rolls ! I used to love the egg rolls soooo much and I was surprised to bite into it and it have those noodles inside that you can get from the frozen area they were never like that before. The fried rice was bland little flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was weird skinny thin fried pieces and the pepper steak was chewy and the sauce was thick like jelly. I'm not sure if there's new owners or if something has changed in the kitchen but this isn't the same quality or taste we used to once love!

Hmmm... Soooo... I felt deceived by this restaurant. I ordered food to go and ordered Chicken with Double Mushrooms and Sliced Chicken with String Beans (verbatim from their menu). A few minutes later an older guy from the kitchen came out and spoke with the guy who took my order and charged me. They conversed in Chinese and I didn't understand a word they said. The guy who took my order looks at me and tells me with a little smile "we just give you two egg rolls ". Here I am thinking, "oh wow, that's nice of them to give freebies" and said "Oh, thank you!" and smiled back. He didn't say anything else to me. Another few minutes later, the older guy from the kitchen came out with my order and said "there's two egg rolls, ok?" I said "Okay, thank you!" thinking they gave me freebies with the food I just ordered and left. Fast forward at home, I was so disappointed to find out that my String beans didn't come with sliced chicken. Checked the bowl from top to bottom and didn't see any slices of chicken. I realized that that was what they were talking about in their language but NOTHING was communicated to me. Didn't even ask if I still want the string beans without the slices of chicken or if i wanted to order something else. They just gave me egg rolls instead, and to make my disappointment even worse, the egg rolls didn't even have an ounce of meat inside. It was a veggie egg roll. They should've told me there was no chicken with the string beans but at the same time they should also change their menu because no customer will be happy or come back if you're not being honest and you're not clear of what you're selling. Sad! UPDATE: Please check your video cameras again, don't blink and watch carefully. They did place chicken on my other order but NOT with the string beans. I actually gave you two stars because, in fairness, the food was tasty. But with how, you, the owner, responded, I wouldn't even give your restaurant one star if I could. If you really checked your cameras and receipts, you would also notice that I payed for my order and even added a tip. Now that I think about it, please add the tip to attend a customer service certification class. I don't need to post a bad review just to get a replacement or a free meal miss. Going back would just be a hassle and I can pay for my meals, as you can see in your cameras or receipts. Thank you.

I have been coming here for years, but unfortunately the quality has dropped drastically. I noticed but kept coming in hopes that it was just a fluke and would get better. I went the other day for the last time. The rice and egg rolls were cold and egg flower soup was so thick and gloppy I couldn't eat it at all. I also ordered chicken chow mein but it was pretty greasy. Makes me sad to make this review because my family and I used to love coming here.

Our go to Christmas meal spot. Coming out of covid the quality started going down, but within the last year or so the food has improved (less greasy). Waiters are funny and friendly, service is fast. Their wontons are generously filled and meaty. Everything we've tried is yummy (beef broccoli, kung pao chicken, stir fry green beans, shrimp in lobster sauce) although more geared toward American-Chinese taste. Great neighborhood dinner spot; nothing fancy just come eat and leave with leftovers for tomorrow's lunch.

Traditional Chinese food made to order, great service, great food. Have been going to this restaurant for years, never disappointed.

New to highland market park and scoping out area for my go to places to eat. I am a creature of habit and always go back to my favorite places and order the same thing. Traditional Chinese Resturant very retro which I love . In the day and age of digital payment and card transactions when they just automatically feel entitled for tip. This is a humble situation with great service that inspired my generosity to tip and write a review. Thanks carol for your hospitality and look forward to returning

I did a takeout order first visit ever. Friend recommended this joint. I walked in and was greeted and given a menu for placing order. 4 lunch specials 76$ . Food was average , I might need to go sit and eat . The atmosphere seemed welcoming and relaxed. Also very clean

Waited for my order for 2 hours, I know it’s Christmas Day but the only reason I made the order was because I was quoted 40 minutes. 2 hours later is ridiculous, avoid this place.

Ordered takeout and found a strange item in our food; I spent so much money and only got a partial refund through DoorDash (I understand that part isn't exactly the restaurants fault) but the food quality was not ok. This was in the wonton dish and unfortunately we only found this thing after we had eaten some. It looks like a cigarette filter; I tried pulling it apart to figure what the heck it was. Definitely not edible though! Super gross and disappointing.
