I like this location more than Little Tokyo due to distance and ease of parking. They both aren't that much different to each other, but there's a few differences. Parking: no seriously, you don't have to struggle to find parking here. They share a huge lot behind the plaza so parking is a breeze. No struggling to find a space when you're in DTLA Indoor seating isn't as big at the OG spot, but it doesn't feel as outdated and rundown. Food is pretty good here. The 3 hand roll set is enough to fill me up, but I was hungry and opted for 5. The unagi and the snow crab are pretty good. The reg hand rolls like the salmon and spicy tuna deserve an honorable mention. Portion sizes are fair and you get an equal rice:protein ratio. Service is good. Would return again

Great food! It's hard finding good and open restaurants in South Pasadena, and this is one of the few.

As the kids would say, this place was pretty mid. I had read great reviews and was very excited to try this place with my fiancée but we both left not super satisfied with the flavor. The presentation was incredible with the Onigiri looking great, while the furikake and rice tasted delicious. The protein inside did not have the best flavor however, and felt like they were missing something.

One of my favorite places to eat at. They are super fast to make the food and the customer service is always great.

Its like a Starbucks but for sushi. Very modern atmosphere, good service. Their rice and nori are definitely their highlights; id recommend the hand rolls or onigiri. Cool selection of drinks, though i didnt get any.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian onigiri options. Sour plum onigiri is very good.

I don't love that there are no raw-tuna omusubi options but everything about rice & nori is great. I had an avocado omusubi which was delicious and a tuna hand roll, which was alright. One omusubi is perfect as a snack and two or three make a filling meal. I asked about their sashimi, which they assure is caught fresh each day and it looks great. I'll be back to try it for sure.

we always come here to pick up orders. We never really dine in. However, they always deliver the quality of the dish, the fishes and it always taste fresh. I just noticed that they just increase the price for this year. They have a small parking lot in the back so you can park if you choose to dine in. I always get their Three hand roll set menu you can choose what fishes do you want, so I like to mix and match. The vibe is pretty chill. They have Japanese snacks available for you to buy, and the staff are always friendly.

Tried the Onigiris! These are huge, 2 will fill you up and 3 will leave you stuffed. Ordered them to go. My favorite was the Salmon Yuzu, then the Shiitake Kombu, and least favorite was the Shio Salmon (very fishy taste). Highly recommend trying! They only take call-in takeout orders or Yelp pickup sometimes so we had to go in and order them wait for take out.

I ordered the 3 roll set. I ordered the blue crab, scallop and yellowtail with onions and salmon sashimi. A fantastic deal at $19 and it came with edamame. The nori was a big soggy which is expected for Handrolls that aren't handed to you as they're made but was still quite good. The sashimi was fresh and edamame was average. It's more a fast casual spot than full service but the service was good. They gave me the wrong drink but rectified it immediately and told me to keep the wrong drink. I would definitely go back.

This place was absolutely amazing! The food tasted great and the service, phenomenal. The restaurant is cute and clean. I'll definitely be coming back again. I wish there was one in the valley but it's worth the drive.

After finding the Rice and Nori on Yelp, I made the decision to check out it tonight. I ordered the Onigiri Spam & Egg, Onigiri Salmon Yuzu, Onigiri California, Ice Green Tea, Matcha Horchata, and Lychee Lemonade in addition to the Three Handroll Set (Handroll Baked Snow Crab, Handroll Salmon, and Handroll Yellowtail Onion Sashimi Salmon). I was unaware of how little the handrolls were until dinner was served. You can essentially consume the whole handroll in a single mouthful. Onigiri are just large balls of rice with minimal filler. My kids finished it, but they were still hungry, so I had to place another order for food. Onigiri California, Onigiri Lobster Shrimp, Onigiri Beef, and Onigiri Spam & Egg are the second orders. When I ask a staff at the counter if I can get a refill for my ice green tea, he doesn't even know if it's possible. He inquired with two other staff members, but it appears they had no idea. It is refillable, the third employee he spoke with confirmed. He asks another female employee if the Ice Green Tea is refillable after he has filled it up and before giving it to me. She responds in the affirmative. Even those sitting at the table next to us, who are searching for somewhere else to eat after finishing their meal, are still hungry after hearing what they were saying. Overall, the meal is costly, the amounts are really small, and I'm shaking my head about the green tea incident.

My kids like the food but the wait is ridiculous. The wait was so so long that it just wasn't worth it.
