Absolutely DISGUSTING! Was so excited to have Chow Fun. Just gross. Food was unedible, overcooked, greasy and fishy tasting ( in dishes that didn't contain fish) Lady on the phone was rude. DONT waste your $. I would have enjoyed Panda Express hands down over this slop.

Good place for traditional Cantonese comfort food. Service was good and food was spot on. Prices are reasonable too.

Good source for comfort food! Only bought to-go...so can't comment on atmosphere or service.

The service at this restaurant is consistently disappointing. Despite its convenient location in my daily routine, I've encountered issues with my orders multiple times. Unfortunately, today was no exception. While I do enjoy some items on their menu, I find that their dishes tend to be overly salty and heavy. Take heed before dining here.

Every time I order from this place things do not go well. One time I've ordered via delivery app. All the food went everywhere in the bag. This place places the food in the plastic container while piping hot so the temperature MELTED THE PLASTIC!! I can't even blame the driver for this failure. Another time I called and asked to place a deli item on hold for me. The lady on the call promised to do so. When I arrived to pick it up they ALL pretended not to know what I was talking about. They didn't care for customer service. This place has in tbe place also told me to wait until their staff finished eating lunch to come back to pick up my food. Their customer service is atrocious, don't order from here. Next door took care of me instead. Never going back!

Not a traditional American Chinese food restaurant,But it was okay. I had the Mongolian beef with Rice and they Head hottea on a big glass tray that you could spin around in the middle of the table to serve everybody. I guess I kinda like San Francisco.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I've given this establishment six chances, and frankly, I'm consistently underwhelmed. The cuisine falls short of expectations, and the service moves at a glacial pace. Waiting nearly 45 minutes for a meal shouldn't be the norm. This experience pales in comparison to those in San Francisco. I won't be returning. Lesson learned, finally.

bbq pork is the best, juicy tender and surprisingly at a very fair price. a must try. I always take it to go, so fast and convenient.

Food is great. Most dishes are traditionally made the right way & the flavor is spot on. My favorite is the snow pea shoots when i feel i need veggies, and my favorite is the tomato beef on pan fried noodles, steamed chicken & rice with ginger sauce. I love the sauce i always ask for extra. The egg flower soup is just right for my dietary needs. I go to the one in San Mateo for work lunch. The waitresses tend to my needs quick & fast if i'm down to a 1/2 hr lunch. My favorite waitress knows my routine so well & takes care of me. A big tip, they remember you for & should treat you better. Sometimes i don't want to wait & grab my own to go to boxes & pack up when i see they are super busy. Im one not to get mad at the restaurant staff. They don't say anything which is great cause i don't want to hear any comments or being smothered. I love it at other restaurants when you are in the middle of eating & talking to your dining friend when they ask you if you need anything. I mean sarcastically "no" dont bother me, really but i like it when you do your job appropriately. You will get a nice tip. Thats me. People who do not know the staff or what to order think that the staff is rude. You feel like they are yelling at you or look at you with no smile but i like the food & thats what i go there for. Its a regular old chinese attitude that goes a long way back. If you go to Sam Wo in chinatown, the funny history about Edsel Ford is that he was a famous waiter for being funny rude & mean to the customers. He made a customer wash the dishes...can you imagine that? Our old chinese attitude was always rude & mean. I dont know why but they think its funny & gets away with it all the time especially in crowded busy areas. Fast service & good food. Thats their style.

This is a big no for me I wouldn't return, be careful, they don't have prices on a lot of their menu and the receipt is not in English. I felt a little ripped off. Anyways I digress.. the food is okay, nothing to rave about. They brought out under cooked pork to my wife and kids and then got mad when we asked to switch it with something else. This visit was a waste of 100$ honestly.

Had lunch here when a large group of 20 of us were in the area. While place was not busy during Sunday lunch, the food was delicious, tasty and fresh! In top of that, we were recommended the lobster noodles for $3 extra as part of their promotion! Did not disappoint. Would recommend and come back again. (Ordered roast pork, bbq pork, salt and pepper fried tofu, beef chow fun, seafood fried rice with dried scallops, pea sprout leaves, and tofu with ground beef). Great service!
