This place was ok, I got the jerk chicken and oxtail plate. The meat was good, but the sides of cabbage weren't as flavorful as I would have liked. It is definitely worth a try still. This was my first time in South San Francisco, so I'm not sure how many more spots like this are around. The beef pates were delicious, and my husband said the goat curry was delicious.

Okay so it’s Jan 20th, I’ve read some mixed reviews and was unsure if it was worth the drive. It is, it’s good and will satisfy the crave. The oxtails are delicious very tender good flavor and omg the jerk chicken is so flavorful and tender I was impressed first bite. The festivals are some of the best I’ve ever had, highlight of the meal. The jerk wings are good, crispy on the outside good tender flavorful meat. You can tell they fresh off a actual grill. I would of loved a bigger portion of the veggies they are good and flavorful. Mac & cheese is alright and unfortunately I’m not a fan of the rice and beans at all. They were mushy and over cooked.Overall 5 stars ⭐️ clean restaurant, courteous staff feels family owned and operated. I watched the game while I ate and enjoyed my experience. I will be back. Also to add I’m not from California or the Bay Area to be specific where it’s hard in my opinion to find good food and as a big fan of authentic Jamaican cuisine they are official. Highly recommended

Found this quaint neighbor restaurant by accident! Came across this gem while searching for a bakery. Flavas Jamaican grill offers soulful and authentic Jamaican entrees. Omgosh! the Jerk chicken with delicious house jerk sauce, served with rice and beans, plantains and sauted vegetables off the hook! Highly recommend the Jerk snapper and shrimp! Will definitely be back for more entrees. Price is reasonable and service needs more attention to guests.

First and foremost, I ABSOLUTELY do NOT appreciate being put to sleep like this. I had to power through a 2 hour ride back home after tasting all of this delectable goodness, and I have yet to receive an apology. The way your food has rocked me VIOLENTLY into a slumber, unacceptable. My fork will never forgive you.I WILL return, and I WILL tell my associates about said treatment. If there is any ox left with a tail in the Bay Area, it belongs to YOU, Flavas. Now GO.

The server wasn't friendly but the food was TOP NOTCH! The snapper, rice, beans and veggies were so good. The snapper was so flavorful and light. I mean I have never had fish dish that I would miss after leaving a city.

This was the absolute worst Jamaican food I have ever had. I wouldn’t even call the chicken jerk, because it lacked jerk season and I have no idea what type of jelly looking sauce they put it on was. The rice and beans were tasteless, overcooked, and sticky. The cabbage lacked seasoning and not cooked long enough. The beef patty was nasty too. It was literally a waste of my money, as I didn’t eat any of it.

I've been in SF for three weeks and this little gem is the best food I've come across. Don't change a thing.

This was my first time here and overall it was ok. I love the vibe of the place. The music playing is great and it has the feel of an authentic Jamaican food spot. I tried several items on the menu. The beef patties, Mac and cheese, jerk chicken, ox tails, plantains, and rice and beans. The jerk chicken was probably my favorite item. They have a kiosks at the front counter that you can use to manually put in your order, but apparently they don't own it, so if you order something through it, that they don't have, they can't refund you your money. That issue and my order being wrong is what caused my service score to be lower.
