Delicious vegan food, large portions, nice ambiance, parking is easy and never have to wait. Staff is friendly. Great for catch ups with friends. I will definitely return!! Very close to the airports I got the cauliflower wings (yummy) and two specials (sweet potato lasagna and Lions Mane mushroom brisket). We came in hungry and we left full! We even had some to take back home with us.

The food was so excellent here. They did a great job of imitation meat in all 3 dishes without compromising flavor. Our server was very kind and kept coming into check on us. The ambiance is homely and quaint.

Not inviting. Walked in and was told to take a menu and sit. Then the server came over after some time and took order while leaning one foot against the wall. I ordered the chicken and waffle (based on his recommendation) and my spouse ordered the burger. Well after about 12 to 15 minutes waiting I heard him tell another table that the waffle machine was having an issue. 10 minutes later the server came to say that the waffle maker was not working. I opted for a burger and we said not to hold the other burger and just bring it. Well that didn't happen either so one burger was cool and the fries cold. I was never asked if I wanted another iced tea. Sad because I try to support vegan places. Came here multiple times when it was Nicks and was disappointed a few times. I won't be making that trip again

Great vibe, met nice people to talk to. The food didn’t live up to the stellar reviews. It was ok.

Delicious vegan food, friendly and helpful waitstaff. Not a fancy place - decor, menus, furniture all worn and low-key. But it's what's inside that counts, and what's inside are novel and creative vegan takes on dishes from around the world, including Argentina, Thailand, Mexico, Central Asia, Japan, and the US.

OMG the food at this place isabsolutely amazing!!! l've beenvegetarian since January 2024 so notthat long. I have to say that the food I ate at this place was way tastierthan any real meat l've eaten in mywhole life. The staff are great, theatmosphere is super low key, therewas a band playing out in the patioand generally an all around good vibe.I will definitely be back. Also I met theproprietor "Kenny" he is a cool dude.Check out my pics and check out thisplace.

The best vegan eggs benedict EVER. Great spot, wonderful atmosphere and the overall the best vegan brunch in the bay!

Great food, great location, wonderful choices. I am new to vegan eating. The desire to lessen my carbon footprint with respect to food choices as well as my intake of toxic chemicals in my food and desire for tasty, healthier choices has got me searching. I found Sky Cafe just off Hwy 101 in South San Francisco to be an excellent choice especially for a Thursday lunch when they were not overly busy and wonderful for afternoon conversation. Wonderful atmosphere. The food was the reason for my visit. I actually thanked the cook after my meal before leaving. Go when they are less busy. I ordered the cauliflower wings and Argentine Chimichurri with a beer and was extremely happy. Sorry no picture.

My partner and I are working towards eating less animal products, but we also love so many different cuisines that don't have a lot of plant-based options. Then, I stumbled upon sky cafe! I thought, what a cool concept, and finally got to try it on a Saturday for lunch. We got there around 1pm, and the host offered us seating inside or on their patio where live music was playing (you can hear it in my video). The ambience was very warm and inviting with local artists' work on the wall for sale. About a quarter of the restaurant was filled, and parties continued to come and go throughout our time there. Many items on the menu intrigued us, but we settled for one main and two appetizers to share. Everything was very tasty, and I can't wait to go back to try more things! Sky Cafe seems to make a lot of great intentional and thoughtful choices!

This is the best all- Vegan restaurant on the peninsula. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the SF Bay Area. Kenny used to own/run Nick's Cafe, an all Vegan Filipino restaurant. It was incredible but Sky Café is much better. The variety of dishes is incredible. Kenny and company make food from all over the world. The service here is superb. They are very attentive and wait staff is great. I love the atmosphere here. There's an indoor section and wonderful outdoor event space. I've seen movies, lectures, music and seeing comedy tonight. Highly recommended

We had the most amazing service experience at Sky Cafe!! Everyone we interacted with was courteous, friendly and welcoming. We accidentally ended up staying long after closing on a Friday night and yet no one rushed us as we completed our meal. Instead, the staff were incredibly accommodating and understanding. I sincerely appreciate how well they took care of us and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to visit this gem of a place soon! Thank you Sky Cafe!Vegetarian options: Rare vegan/ vegetarian spot!

I'm a new vegan and came across this lifestyle by accident discovering I felt much better eating all plant-based foods. So, when we needed to pick up a relative at SFO I searched for a vegan-friendly place in the area and found Sky Cafe just 10 minutes from the airport. My only complaint was that the place was pretty cold and we kept our winter jackets on as did everyone else. A bit overwhelmed by all the choices I asked our server what he recommended and ordered that. I had the kimchi fried rice omelet. It was amazing! The flavors were bright. It was my first time having substitute eggs and it was way better than I imagined. We live up in the North Bay so this will be our new stop when going to SFO. We were all super impressed. The service was great. Parking was on the street and metered. We will absolutely return.
