I used to love the scones available from Peets shops since forever but since the plague hit 2 years ago none of the local Peets (San Bruno Bayhill, Daly City Serramonte, South San Francisco Grand Ave.) feature them any more. It makes me wonder if they are still in business since I haven't seen their products in years. Unfortunately they do not sell their products commercially from their bakery location in South City since they are a wholesale only operation. Really miss their baked goods at our local stores. Their products used to be 5 stars but the current unavailability of their stuff is zero stars.

Worst berry scones ever. Absolutely NO berries. No matter where you buy them. From Peets in Lafayette to Cumaica in SF. The pastries suck.

A buttery and flaky Ham and Cheese Croissant was heated slightly at Union Coffee Roasters. Perfect for a quick breakfast snack! On other occasions here, I've had the Mushroom Quiche and a Blueberry Crumb Muffin. All good!

I like the pastries a lot of them are very good. However I was talking to one of their clients and apparently they want the clients to recycle the boxes back to City Baking company. Since cardboard cannot be sterilized this just doesn't seem to be very hygienic. That's why the three stars.
