I want to start this review stating, I do not eat fish unless it is battered and fried. So, naturally, the only way I'll eat a fish taco is a battered and fried fish taco. I ordered the chipotle fish taco, not knowing it was not a fried fish taco. I was hesitant, but after I took my first bite... I couldn't believe how insanely delicious this taco was!!!! Not only was it absolutely flavorful... it was a large fish taco!!! So many good flavors! The fish was not fishy or mushy and was seasoned and possibly pan fried to give a texture contrast. The chipotle sauce was yummy and had that kick that I love. Loved all the fresh toppings too which makes a fish taco so yummy and balanced! We all ordered something different. My daughter ordered the Baja style and the ginger fish taco! She said she could eat probably 4 more that they were that good! My youngest, who is not a fish person ordered a plain carnitas and she was impressed! Last, but definitely not least... I have to mention the staff! Hector and staff were so nice and friendly, which I always appreciate! Will definitely be seeing them again to eat more fish tacos! I'm so impressed with their fish tacos (not battered and fried btw) that I must try their others! It's funny cause my mom can't even get me to eat fish like that... haha!!!!

These tacos and shrimp quesadilla make my mouth water. The creativity shown in elevating the fish tacos is outstanding. The classic fish taco is my favorite and the immensely stuffed quesadilla is so heavy- it's worth the price and 1 taco and 1/2 of it filled me up. The pop up event was super fun and music made it complete. I tell all around me about these tacos because I never want them to go away!! I can tell the genuine heart that goes into this business and I truly want them to succeed and grow and make more tacos! I look for opportunities to enjoy these incredible tacos and wish for more chances! They are big and full of flavor, protein and some kinda magic!

Wonderful from start to finish. My wife and I hired Casanova Fish Tacos for our rehearsal dinner and they knocked it out! Hector is a true professional. From the tasting, to his quick responsiveness in emails leading up to the event and especially the day of everything was terrific. And of course the tacos are out of this world (don't sleep on the ginger taco!) If you have an event and you want to blow your guests minds with the food, go with Casanova. They won't disappoint

Rare to get that from a caterer in a city park! Definitely not you average taco truck. Restaurant quality. Worth every penny. Don't forget the churros too!

Arrived on time and served for the entire agreed upon time and cleaned up fast. Not the cheapest, but absolutely the BEST. Worth every penny. Those churros were the perfect ending to a wonderful family reunion party!

I had Casanova Tacos cater my retirement party recently. I have used taco caterers before but he is the only one that serves fish. But, that is not what sets him apart! His fish tacos are the best fish tacos I have ever had. Seriously! He served both grilled and traditionally fried with his special sauce he created, which was very yummy. The tacos were huge and filling. He also served chicken and veggie tacos which were also amazing. He also had ceviche as an appetizer and churros for dessert. I wish I had eaten more of the churros they were so good.Hector was very professional and a great communicator before and during the event. I am using Hector for all of my events from now on. Highly recommend Casanova Tacos.

Casanova Fish Tacos was the perfect catering partner for our corporate event. Hector was so communicative and was able to adjust the menu to fit a variety of dietary needs. He checked the venue beforehand to ensure he had ample space for set up and was so flexible with our timeline. On top of all this the food was AMAZING. Hands down some of the best fish, beef, and vegan tacos the team has ever had. Most folks said they were the BEST tacos the ever had. It was the perfect fit for our event and we are so grateful for all of the Casanova team’s work.

A true staple for Baja style fish tacos in San Diego. Let me tell you, it's hard to earn such a right because the competition is hard. But, innovation is the true driving force for this family own business. To say he only sells Baja fish tacos is untrue. Hector has created a unique style of cooking by infusing different cultures into his recipes. For example his Grilled Red Curry Fish Tacos are out of this world or Grilled Peruvian Fish Tacos are a work of art! He carries others that are worth a try but I suggest looking over his menu for new and exciting creations. BTW his Green tomatillo with habanero salsa is literally award winning! From the shrimp ceviche, shrimp aguachile, to my daughter's favorite shrimp quesadilla there is no one better than Casanova Fish Tacos!
