I've been coming here for several years now and I have still yet to be disappointed. I got an order of the salt and pepper chicken wings and they were SO GOOD. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The workers are always kind and i make sure to tip them every time. My only complaint is they took away the indoor dining, which allowed me to eat my food as soon as I get it. But this is a minor inconvenience when aligned with the quality of the food. If you want great Chinese food that's not over ally expensive come to Chef China!

The chicken, for the lemon chicken, was a little dry and didn't seem too fresh. I did like how they separated the sauce though. The broccoli beef was really good. Same for the pork chow mien and rice. Big chunks of pork in the noodles!

It's carry out only but they pack that to-go container with enough to feed 2 very hungry people or 3 hungry people. It's amazing!!

Support local family own businesses!!! This I my lazy weekend go to. The food is fresh. Other places I've gone to in San Diego use cheap products and the leftovers spoil the next day. This does not happen here! The egg foo young is the best I have found in the west coast so far. The fried rice has a lot of flavor, good portion and ally of whatever protein you select. I usually order the shrimp or BBQ pork. Both the salt and pepper and soy w chicken wings are good. You can order online using delivery services but if you go in you need cash. They are very kind about reminding you if you call. Also check out or ask about the family packs if you have a large family. Very affordable!

Been coming here for over 20 years now. It's the closest Chinese restaurant for when I'm craving salt & pepper wings. Their house lo mein is so good. We have also tried their house chow mein (wish it had veggies), Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Hot & Sour Soup, Salt & Pepper Shrimp/Squid/Tofu. Anything salt & pepper is YUMMY. Be warned though: 1) Parking is tight in this strip mall. 2) Cash only, but there's an ATM machine at the 7-11, a Bank of America ATM machine, and across the street is a Wells Fargo. And 3) Only take out option. Since the pandemic they've never opened their seating area back up. They only allow one person at a time inside. Most people call in their order and they give you an estimated time to pick up. We ordered 6 entrees and a soup it was about 40 minutes.

Old fashioned family restaurant. Though they only seem to do takeout now (since Covid), if you happen to pick up at the right time, you will even see the family catching dinner in the corner. Reminds me of places we used to frequent as a kid that don't exist anymore. The family meals are a great deal; worth getting. Friendly service, good food, good value. All things in rare supply these days. Remember: Takeout Only!

Some pretty solid light-up menu American Chinese food!The prices are very fair for the enormous portions you get. One $12 rice or meat entree is enough to feed two people or one extremely hungry person.The General Tso's (not much distinction it's all just sugar/corn syrup and flavoring no matter where you go) was definitely not crispy anymore after 15+ minutes in a clamshell but the flavor was good. Same with the fried rice, just green onion and egg which is exactly how I like it, with BBQ pork was tasty. The beef Lo Mein and rangoons were just O.K.Likely feeling the post COVID restaurant climate changes, this place is a cash-only pickup and delivery operation right now. Would be nice to eat in here some day.
