Decided to try this spot out based on the positive reviews on both Google and Yelp. Got the 1 pound of barbacoa with a side of consome. The barbacoa itself was decent but somewhat dried and it was room temperature when I got home ( This was a 10 min drive ) the meat also had bones in it. The consome itself was very salty, the salsa containers were also on the smaller side. Other places include rice and beans with their barbacoa, unsure if this place does? Overall I would not come back for barbacoa here but maybe would come and try their other food items.
Tried the Barbacoa de borrego?(sheep), so tasty, comes with a consome with garbanzos, tortillas, onion and cilantro(lemon).. big enough for two or maybe three..dont forget the beans and rice Omg so good.. I gotta go back and try other food on menu. Support local restaurants you'd be surprised?
