The bartender was rude upon entering. We came to play pool and have a drink. I asked for change so we can play a couple games. She then asked for my ID. So I went back to get my ID. And then she didn't give me the change, but pointed to the change machine on the wall. So after i got my own change we played one game. And then towards the end, the same bartender comes to the pool table in front of everyone and says that we need to buy a drink and can't just come in here to 'play pool.' I've worked as a bartender and waitress in the service industry. This place is tactless. Too bad, because I love dive bars. I feel like they could have a lot of paying customers if they understood how to talk to people. But maybe that's their point. And maybe they only want 'certain kinds' of people in the bar. We felt unwelcome from the start.

Love this place! My husband and I have been here on a couple of occasions and both times, we are amazed how friendly the patrons are and let's not forget the awesome bartender, Sunny. I grew up in this area and have seen this bar numerous times but was hesitant to go in. But dang, was I surprised and now I'm glad we found a place where we can just have a drink, play some pool and relax. One of the first things you'll notice when you walk in is how everyone seems to know each other. It's got a family feel to it. Last night, one lady bought everyone at the bar a round of drinks. I've only seen this in the movies. But no, it didn't stop there, another guy bought my husband and I a couple of drinks because we brought a pizza to share for the bar. Just a great vibe to it and we hope it continues to be that way. I'll also mention that this place has one pool table and dart games. Parking is great since it's on the same lot as Albertsons. There's also parking on the back side of the bar, if that's more convenient.

I've given this place several chances, but it just isn't that great. I've experienced a few different bartenders here. Some great, more, not so much. I've never seen so much Google searching when ordering a drink to figure out how to make it. Or ask me how it's made. The vibe is what I would call depressing. There have been a couple of times where there were more than 5 people their and it was somewhat fun. The majority of the time, it's just dark, empty, and depressing. Go elsewhere or drink at home.

This is the most embarrassing situation I have been in. Bartender ID me and I had forgotten my ID but had a picture on my phone. Did not take it and told me to leave. Been there before and never had they done something like this. She said she was doing her job like no you where rude by telling me to leave in front of everyone . Never will I go back to this place. I feel offended in many ways cause they could of handled it differently. There is no law saying you physically have ur ID with you.

I had the best time in my life . But got scarred when I met some one to related with . And left the bar . Hope I meet the guy that was awesome to meet . Witch I will never meet again . That my story of my life. In Spring Valley . Hope I see him again . But I don't think I will . Only the Bar tender would remember this day . Frankie is my name the guy that scared away from a great guy .

Showed up to Mike's 40 minutes before closing tonight and the bartender was far from hospitable, I guess she wanted to get off early and didn't want me and my friends money this night. I hopes he's the owner or this could be bad for her career cuz we were spending big tonight.
