Decent cafe option if you're near the Stanford engineering quad. The coffee and drink options are all good--- so are the sandwiches and salads. I'm not a big fan of their arepas; I find them dry and flavorless. I also strongly dislike their breakfast sandwiches and burritos, which contain an excessive amount of overcooked and under-seasoned scrambled eggs. I don't understand how any self-respecting food establishment can serve those monstrosities to people. In short, stay away from the eggs and you'll be fine. I also recommend ordering through their app because the lines can get long.

This little spot was a very nice surprise. I have been spending a lot of time at the Stanford Hospital caring a family member and the cafeteria food can get very redundant. I love that this little cafe is about a halfmile walk, or a mile walk to and from total to the hospital. I merely ordered a small cappuccino. the food looked very good and they seemed to always have quite a few people enjoying their food outside. It is easy to miss. There is a very cool public sculpture of giant stone globes from around the world in the outside area in front of the cafe. If you see those stones you know you're in the right area. The arepas, salads, and sandwiches others were eating all looked very good.

Holiday round of golf with the boys. Came up the 9th hole and ordered some "Turndogs" from Coupa Cafe they have a nice F&B operation at the stanfordgolfcourse in Palo Alto. After I ordered I realized I had left my wallet in one of the golf bags which was already up on the green. So I had to walk the 0th fairway to catch up. By the time I was walking back, Coupa called to let me know the food was ready. Super friendly and quick. Food was good too!

Ordered the elephant spice chai (there're also Tiger and orca if I didn't remember wrong). It's beyond my expectation cuz I had no idea how this 'elephant' thing would taste like. But the waiting time was a bit long. You might wanna try order on phone and come to pick up later.

Unfortunately these folks are super understaffed and their current ordering systems are illogical and inefficient. One can walk in and order drip coffee and sandwich and it can take up to 30 mins to receive. I have a ton of compassion for the staff who are doing their best to juggle online orders, in person lines and the like. Management, please fix your broken and inefficient systems and get more help for your staff. Thanks! This used to be a great cafe once upon a time. Hope they can get it together.

Popular, quick eatery with American and Venezuelan fare. They offer many sandwiches, wraps, salads, but also arepas and quesadillas. I like their paninis that come with a side of mixed greens. The line for lunch can be quite long, but they have the option to order ahead online through their website. The ambiance of their outdoor seating area is very nice and lively; it is situated in Stanford's Engineering Quad.

Great salads, coffee, and desserts. They have Chuao's Spicy Maya mix, a spiced chocolate blend, which is amazing. Definitely try it in your hot chocolate or mocha! A little pricey, but expected for the area. And if you use their Coupa App, you get 5 dollars back for every $50 that you spend!

Their sandwiches are good but some of the stuff is over-priced... like the iced coffee.

A convenient option for my everyday coffee and lunch. I recommend their Asian chicken salad and mocha coffee. A bit more expensive than what you actually pay for, but so are Stanford prices.

This is my go to lunch spot on campus. Partly bc they have decadent desserts and overpriced Yerba mates in a can... and the tasty coffee, salads, and arepas. You know what else they have? Great staff! I love seeing the manager (I think) -- he once called out an order for "Kiki! Kiki? ...do you love me?" And we just started cracking up. Can't beat that!

There coffee sucks and it's gross. They are very rude and have bad customer service. Very expensive for no reason and they don't serve you a lot of coffee.

Located in one of Stanford's main engineering buildings, this Coupa location is very central and easily accessible by hoards of students. During peak times (e.g. 12-12:30), it can get really busy. The servers are kind and try their best to serve you in a timely manner. The coffee and tea are decent. Anything that's latte-like tends to be overly sweet, so consider asking for it to be made less sweet if that's not your thing. The food: the cost to value ratio for salads are terrible. I don't understand how they get away with charging $10+ for salads that come with barely anything. I would much rather go to Trader Joe's and buy a prepackaged salad than come here. Or better yet, I'd just make my own with much more interesting ingredients. Sandwiches are a bit more filling, but the flavors just don't cut it for me. I've heard the arepas are the best thing to get here, but I've been so put off by my salad and sandwich experiences that I'm hesitant to try other food items here. I'd recommend coming for basic drinks, but for food, you're better off going to the food trucks outside Y2E2.
