The brisket was amazing, and there was enough food to feed me for like two meals, which I really appreciate. Really enjoyed the collard greens and Mac and cheese as well. The pork was okay but the brisket is so good. The corn bread is very good.

My favorite when back at school- southwest salad is the best! Love the secrete dressing which makes the salad so yummy!

For being one of the main hubs for food around campus, I would hope that its interior was more appealing and welcoming. Food spots themselves are pretty good/decent. I just wish the seating area inside wasn't such a hodge podge of sorts; I'd say it's still living in the 90s. Outside seating could use an update as well. I do enjoy the Farmer's Market on Tuesdays. Berry vendor always has great produce when they're in season. I have yet to try the Thai vendor, but they always have a long line when I go (probably a good sign). Conference rooms upstairs also outdated looking. I've had to deposit money for work at Wells Fargo and there's usually no lines towards the end of the day when parking isn't enforced. Best spot for food in my opinion around here is the Treehouse.

My favorite spot on campus when I was a student here. The servers were always really nice, and I always got the caesar salad wrap with kalamata olives. Great quality, pretty good prices. I just wish they were open for longer hours.

Salads are tasty and pretty large but staff was a bit rude, especially if you ask for a substitution on one of the suggested salads.

Heirloom salads are fantastic, BBQ & sushi or poke is good, Panda Express Good, Jamba Juice good, i don't eat Subway , and I can't believe Stanford can't have better Coffee than a Starbucks. Come on, really? Philz or Blue Bottle or Peet's would be so much better- that said- the prepared foods at Starbucks are not bad when you're in a hurry- but order an espresso drink when it's busy & u might find yourself Waiting For your drink longer than it takes you to actually drink it. Tuesday has a tiny farmers market w good food vendors too Upstairs are offices & convenient ATM's Lots of seating & handy microwave Tiny bathrooms downstairs

Fresh but bang-per-buck lacking especially on campus.

super generous portion of salad for $6 ish (no meat) ...probably the best deal on campus (even better than thai cafe where you will get 3 pieces of meat and a lot of rice) more than enough to keep you full till dinner time. You can either pick your own selection ir get the pre-selected classics like southwest salad caveat is ... they are not healthy at all even though it is salad. the dressing tends to be on the heavier side and they gave you even mkre dressing so that is bad.. throw in some fried dumpling and some candied nuts, you will get enough calories for the whole day i normally order my own salad and tell them to go super super light on dressing yet my salad came out super soaky lol

Good place to get healthy food on campus. The southwest chicken was very filling too. Not surprisingly, they can make the salads with or without meat. It's also quick which is always nice.

It's a pretty generous amount of salad for the cost - they really go out of their way to pack that plastic box up to (and often beyond) capacity. The southwest chicken salad with a medium (vs. small) dose of dressing and extra tortilla strips is the way to go here. They also have weekly specials (i.e. chinese chicken salad, bbq crispy chicken salad, etc) but so far nothing has taken down the southwest as my go-to. One of the better healthy options on campus, check it out!

Amazing fresh tossed salads! I wish they had better working hours, it's a bit hard to accommodate their schedule

I love their fresh-tossed salads! They have some blends they suggest (Classic Southwest, for example) but you can also make your own-- which I love to do! The base is 6.75, and you can add protein (chicken for $2 and salmon for $4.) They have different lettuce (spring mix, arugula, baby spinach, romaine) and tons of toppings (black beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato, cucumber, quinoa, feta, parmesan, croutons, tortilla chips, cranberries, raisins, etc). And also a whole bunch of dressing choices: balsamic, champagne vinegar, raspberry vinegar, caesar, and cilantro. A little expensive but definitely your healthiest choice at Union Square!
