I've been coming to Empresso for a while (since they had their second location before too), and their dirty chai lattes always are my favorite! Not only in Stockton, but most cafes. I no longer live in the area, but every time I visit, I'm always stopping my Empresso for my dirty chai. Today, I got one of their new/perhaps limited drinks called Strawberry Field (a strawberry matcha with vanilla) and while it was good, it could've used just a tad bit more vanilla syrup (I also have a smooth tooth). Overall, I love coming here for my daily coffee(s) and sometimes work dates (if you're lucky enough to grab a seat, they're typically busy). They have free WiFi and plugs are available depending on your chosen seat.

What more could you ask for?This location has been around for what feels like forever, yet today was the first time I’d gone and I don’t regret it whatsoever.I ordered the hot White Mocha (comes with 4x espresso shots by default) and the turkey egg sandwich. The sandwich was kind of what you’d expect but the coffee itself was splendid. Not overly sweet while retaining its flavor. The decoration is also nice. Simple and clean murals on the walls with modern cafe style decor. My only complaint is how far it is from my house! I certainly won’t make it a regular drive for coffee, but if you’re in the area or passing through, I highly recommend this spot.

Love this place :))) me and my bf used to come here all the time and they've never failed me ! I'm mostly in the bay now and it's hard finding good coffee like this ! Anyways 10/10 highly recommended for coffee snobs

Funky vibe coffee shop. They serve my absolute favorite chai latte. It’s creamy, rich, not too sweet, not spicy. It’s truly one of a kind.Only drawback is that it gets BUSY on weekend mornings.

The coffee is delicious and consistent. I’ve come here in a span of years and it is still so yummy! The paninis are still good as well. The el dorado location is much more friendly. Second time I’ve been here and the workers are so lukewarm. Just a simple hello and thank you would go a long way and tone change would go so far.But overall I’m gonna keep coming back for the coffee lol

Hands down the best hot chai latte you'll ever have! It's nice spot to talk with others or work if you can find the space. Depending who's working you'll have uppity experience or not. Sometimes it's too loud and you can't hear your order being called with the machines whirring.
Been going to this coffee shop for a while almost a year consistently (almost everyday ) ! and I can from the manager to the employees they are all rude and not friendly to BLACK PEOPLE I can honestly say I’ve ignored a lot of the rudenes just for my love of coffee , I am a frequent customer and never get greeted as so ,not even a hello. How are you doing today? Neither twin cashier or Barista that sees me often Every time I come to this coffee shop greets or is welcoming ,I get the exact same drink. I enjoyed it the first time I had it and ever since then I’ve gotten the same thing. I would think by now seeing me You would know what I was getting as many times as I’ve come. They Make me explain what I would like on purpose. I feel to embarrass me because they have some Underlining issue with me and the only reason I feel this way is because every time I come there’s a different price on my drink every single time there’s either an up charge of 25 $.10 even a dollar more than the last time and sometimes it’ll go back down to the original price that I paid for the first time I got the drink when there is a new cashier, I don’t know what it is about this coffee shop I don’t know what I did, but it is clear to see that they do not like me I live very close to this coffee shop so that’s why I continue to go but I do not recommend anyone to go here that is African-American as I am I would hate to say that that’s the reason I’m being treated differently, but it feels that way because I have done nothing wrong. I give this coffee shop, my money, consistently politely, and never speak about an issue that I have and in return I just get rude looks from The women there. today my last double espresso over with brown sugar from EMPRESSO was $4.05 and the day before it was exactly $3.00 …… won’t ever return to this location

If you love poppy coffee but you lean towards more of a black coffee or strong espresso then this is your place. You get all the same love and community with a more well brewed cup of coffee. Always comfortable here

Started coming here in 2020 when I had my knee surgery! Lovely environment, high-quality drinks and food. The staff are always super nice and welcoming. Although I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I do enjoy coming for the food/atmosphere.
