The staff was nice, she approached me by name while I was waiting. There was no line when I walked in. Wait time was only 10 min or so. The food AMAZING I ordered link sandwich. 3slider combo with 2 brisket 1 pulled pork. They need somebody black Aunty on the Mac and cheese... It wasn't hitting at all.

A lot of barbecue places claim to be the best in town and I've traveled all over the United States. Eating at barbecue places. This is hands down. One of the best if not the best. And they do not gouge you on the prices, which I can highly respect. Their barbecue is amazing so much so that i've ordered two racks of ribs three times this week. They also have a huge selection of beer if that's your thing. But what stands out most to me about this restaurant? Is the fact that they don't rely on barbecue sauce to make their food good? It's good just by itself. Barbecue sauce is icing on the cake. And the best part about their ribs is it's not skimpy ribs like you encounter, they are fat. Decadent ribs. 10/10

Staff and atmosphere were great. A bit pricey but the portions were decent. Junk Nachos were $15 and okay. Three meat plate cost $39.99, but the meat was luke warm and bit flavorless. Couldn't stand alone without sauce and the meat was dry. Didn't seem like it came right of the grill, like it was sitting in a tray for awhile. Mac was below average. Potato Salad was ok more on the sweeter side. We were full when we left. But don't think they we may go back (an hour drive for us).

It’s very rare when I travel that I find places I have to go back to. This is one of them. Their good is so good, the staff is so friendly and they owner is incredibly nice. I would recommend anyone in Stockton to check this place

Food was just ok. Meat was cooked nicely just missing flavor. The bbq sauce is very good. The Garlic fries are amazing. My husband loved the nachos however he got pulled pork and said the meat was flavorless so next time he will try different meat. The Mac n cheese was very cheesy but also missing something. We had tried this place a while back and really liked but this time wasn’t as good.

Saying it was good does NOT do this food justice! I catered full trays last Saturday and had, Tri-tip, ribs, pulled pork, and chicken and let me tell you, my guests were RAVING about the food!! Everyone loved how tender the meat was and the flavor, this is one of the first parties I’ve had that people went up for seconds and thirds!! Everything finished, the tri tip was a fan favorite and in second place the ribs! I can’t remember how many compliments I had on the food! I will definitely be using fat city BBQ to cater my party again. Thank you so much.
