the snapper sandwich is garbage. charged 39.05 for (2) fish sandwiches and a grilled cheese. its really disheartening when the purchase of food causes this much heartache and taste like shit to boot

Manny's has always had the BEST fish n chips anywhere. Fresh Pacific snapper and fresh potatoes for their fries. Strange to see all the bad reviews. I am a long-time Manny's customer. I've always had good experiences. My only request: I wish they stayed open until later. But I would urge the owners to pay heed to the not-so-good reviews which call on Manny's to pay closer attention to quality, service and cleanliness. Manny's has always been a local favorite in Stockton and one of California's hidden gems.

Quaint little cafe. They have THE absolute best fried chicken. I know people have complained about customer service but they have THE best friend chicken so I guess they dont have to focus on customer service much. I loved that they now have a website to order from, it takes away from the stress of trying to call and placing an order.

The customer service has increased tremendously since the previous owner. I've visited about 4 times recently before leaving this review and i can't complain about the service during any of those visits. The guy taking orders over the phone is quick, as they are busy, but not rude. And the 2 ladies usually working the counter are very nice. I always order the breast of chicken (fried chicken) sandwich and it's always 10/10. The only thing I wish was that they still offered those really yummy jalapeños.
I thought maybe it was just me, but the customer service here is beyond bad. The owner himself has an attitude problem and isn't worth supporting. Look up "main character complex" and you'll know to avoid people like him/her.

Food is mediocre, ordered oysters and fish along with three-piece chicken never received my fish, the oysters seem to be fried in some type of unseasoned batter, the chicken needed seasoning as well. I just moved back to Stockton and this place is on my list to never return again sorry
