We live in Walnut Creek with family in Stockton. Every time we come to the 209 we have to grab Miguel's absolutely LOVE this spot!! Definitely try it if you haven't yet!

This place is overrated and outdated. The chairs are super uncomfortable. They only hav 1 waitress working at 4:30!?! Talk about testing your patience. Then when u get to the food it’s a 1/5The rice is bland. My enchilada was cold and the chips are stale. Old people food :(

The food as a whole is very good, and the service is great. But, I only have only 2 issues that's my opinion & circumstance.1. The table salsa base comes from tomato sauce, possibly canned, with dry spices. I ordered the Pico de Gallo with a $1.50 charge.2. The wood chairs are very uncomfortable for my sciatica from an old back injury. I forgot about them when I suggested going there to my friend. I had to sit on my jacket for a cushion.Try the food yourself and see if you agree with me. The chair issues are inconsequential to others, to those who don't have back or hip injuries.

Food was just bland, salsa tastes like pizza sauce or elpato straight from a can. The tables were way too close for comfort. Horchata tasted generic and disgusting, guacamole was decent . I could hear the staff over the conversation at my table , enchiladas were plain tortillas with gross gravy dumped on top. Worse 50 bucks ever

Ordered food to go. Got the taco ? dinner and the didn't give me the salad that comes with it and the grilled chicken tacos were soggy for some reason so the tacos all broken apart. It was good but just couldn't hold the tacos together. Lol.

Miguel's isn't anything fancy, but it is very tasty Mexican dishes, good sized portions, and very friendly, efficient service. The prices are quite reasonable and they have a varied menu. Miguel's is locally owned and committed to the Stockton community.
