The pork was pink, I’m not sure if that’s how the dish is supposed to be prepared. But I didn’t want to risk getting sick. I let the cashier know, she said it was the way it’s supposed to be. That could be true. But there was no offer of changing it. So I told them I’d pay for something else. They swapped it for me, no charge. I just didn’t care for it. The beef was very chewy. I lived on Maui and I never tasted anything close to this. But I bet some people do enjoy it.
Not only did I have to wait twice as long to get my order because they forgot my Spam Musubi but, when I got back to work and opened the plate (during my second break because they wasted my whole lunch) but, they got my order wrong. Not to mention I paid extra for substitution. I think there was 6 people that came in after me and still got their orders before me. Ridiculous. Charge me extra. Make me wait through my whole lunch and still get the order wrong. Might as well as just go to a full blow fancy restaurant during lunch then.

The food is really good here for fast food. They actually serve really good food the service I had a good experience. The employee that helped me was very kind and patient while I was ordering my food and it's located in the neighborhood shopping plaza.

Finally had this for the first time in probably over 10 years an the teriyaki chicken bowl I had was delicious. I even ate the cabbage it came with (which I never do) . I can't wait to have the other items on there menu. This is one of those places you can never go wrong with if your looking to get a good quick sufficient meal that's not fast food

Last food stop on the way home.... Ono offers the general Hawaiian BBQ meats and sides. What they don't offer are saimin noodles, BBQ Meat & veggie rice bowls, or spam musubi.The ladies working the counter were very professional, friendly, and hard working. One nice thing here was the variety of condiments available for patrons to help themselves to, from Katsu and teriyaki sauces to sriracha, soy sauce, ketchup, and much much more. My daughter ordered the Aloha dinner special, which was fried fish, rice, and salad. She said it was very good. I ordered the BBQ Beef lunch plate that comes with rice and Mac salad. It was really good, too. The island decor was nice and the place was clean. If they had soup or veggie bowls I might have even rated them at five stars. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Fast quick and easy... the food was good and my kids like it. The place was packed and they got us quick. I didn't even order anything and ate all my kids leftovers which was perfect for everyone. I find the food bland but who am i 2 judge :) You can order ahead which is nice. I recommend parking down away from the restaurant and other shops as the parking tens to get congested. Either way- the parking lot can be adventurous
