Usually I will write a long review but I'm going to keep it short and simple. EVERYTHING about this place is amazing. DELICIOUS FOOD everything on the menu that consists of chicken , vegetables, Nan bread, chutney, samosas SO good! I order from here alllll the time to go but I've dined here once and they give these things on the table to eat with different sauces. The people here are really awesome and the place looks super authentic and cute! Highly recommend to everyone :)

what an unlikely gem this place is! Despite it humble appearance it's an absolutely delicious local spot. The Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala were fresh, delicious and plentiful. We will be back!

I got luncheon size portions for the price of dinners. The food was mediocre. I asked for medium to American spicy and it was a bit too spicy but that could be me. Don't order to go whilst watching cooking show! (I wish I could have changed my selection- I don't enjoy it and don't see eating it just cuz I pd for it..but what a waste and disappointment.)

Indian restaurants in Metro LA are not known for quality or authenticity. Bollywood takes it to a new low. Nothing that we order had any flavor whatsoever much less Indian flavors. My sense is this food came from a ghost kitchen or commissary. No-one that actually cares about food cooked this bland mess. Stay away. Simply gross.

This is my first time at their studio city location after previously going to their Sherman Oaks location and it met all my expectations. Had a friendly atmosphere and food was great. 10/10

The food at Bollywood Cafe was amazing! The butter chicken was very tasty and the naan bread was nice and fluffy. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is lively. It's definitely a must-visit spot for Indian food lovers in Los Angeles! 10/10

This place is one of the best Indian restaurants in all of LA. The food is spectacular and the service is even better.

A friend of mine who has lived in LA for a while recommended this place as one of his favorite Indian restaurants after having gone to quite a few and we came here tonight as a group and the food was delicious!! Fresh and hot. Recommend the mango lassi to finish off the meal. Clean environment!

I have to admit that I have not tried very many Indian Restaurants. That being said, I do recall Indian food having a lot more flavor than this place. The service was great, the waiter or waiters were very attentive and there were other clients eating during the lunch hour I was there.I tried the Chicken Curry, comes with plenty of rice and naan. I ordered medium spicy, thinking I would get some spice since there is mild, medium, hot and hotter. The portion was decent, but I would hate to think what the mild would taste like since the medium had very little flavor and spice. In any event, I have had better tasting Indian food, sadly I do not recall where exactly, but thinking west of this place somewhere in Encino.I do not want to completely trash this place since again not too family with Indian Cuisine, but I might have to just try this place again and order spicier to see if that changes by palate.

This is a nice and cosy Indian restaurant, the decor has a retro vibe with very nice table settings, cloth napkins and table cloths, the staff was very pleasant and paint with us, I don’t love cilantro (coriander) and I forget to ask for it to be removed when ordering, I asked a couple of minutes later and they accommodated me.We ordered, the Onion Pakora was good one was a little more well done then the other. The Garlic Naan was incredible, lots of garlic, the crispy bottom and the soft and chewy bread, I’m drooling as I write this, get this naan.I love Peshwari Naan, it was good to try different takes, this was more coconut with less raisin based, it was less sweet then other peshwari then I tried. The dishes were amazing, a little bit more then we could finish. The rice was so good as well, I don’t think enough focus is ever put on the rice because it’s a little over shadowed by the curry, but there rice was tasty and solid.

Fantastic! Small, cozy eating area. Everything from the complimentary bread/sauces to the entrees themselves were delicious. Service was great, and they constantly checked in to make sure our waters were topped off (which was very necessary since we chose the 'spicy' options for our food). We definitely make it a treat to go here when craving good Indian food nearby!

I wish I had an option for ZERO starts I would have gone with that option. Here’s how my FIRST visit at this location was like:I and my two friends decided to go to an Indian restaurant, get some samosa appetizers and good old fashioned chai. See that we’re three people so ofcourse we were going to order multiple appetizer options alongwith chai. Immediately, we were told that the restaurant doesnt serve chai alone. Which is when we brought to his attention that hey we’re ordering appetizers too and that too multiple ones. He then responded saying yeah the restaurant doesnt serve only appetizers either its a part of the rule. He was super disrespectful about it and we had to leave to restaurant as a result. A fellow indian treating other indians like his!! I’m so upset and would never recommend this place to anyone. If you are craving good indian food and good service PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
