A delicious diner in the valley. It’s one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone’s home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind.As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast option in the valley.Parking: small free parking lot in front

This place is a gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and it appears that they enjoy their work. The food was excellent, fluffy omelette and pancakes. Good breakfast burrito with chorizo and lots of eggs, great potatoes on the side. Green smoothie was outstanding. As The Governator would say, "I'll be back."

If I could eat breakfast here every day, I would. The Good Neighbor is one of my favorite breakfast stops. I love their omelets and the house potatoes, yummy. Cooked to perfection.Or if I order the Good Neighbor breakfast, it comes with two eggs. However, you like them, I like mine prepared over medium," and that's just how I get them all the time. Never over cooked, two strips of bacon, and two of the best pancakes around! Always friendly service, and the price is right. If you're ever near Universal Studios. Stop by.

What’s not to like? The service was fast and the portions were generous The chicken stroganoff was tastier and lighter than the beef version that one usually sees, and the rice was properly cooked and the multi-bean soup of the day was complex and interesting. My wife thought the meat on the beef teriyaki was a bit tough, but it was certainly flavorful. As a bonus, it’s on a corner that leads directly onto the south 101. Plenty to recommend here.

Woke up on hotel checkout day after a horrible dinner the night before and all 3 of us were super hungry. I got on Google maps and typed in breakfast place and the Good Neighbor was close and had 4.6⭐'s. Should be 400.6⭐'s. Small family breakfast diner feel. Staff was super friendly and attentive. And the food !!! Was delicious. Wife and kid got the pancake and eggs combo and I got the tri tip steak omelette. Wish they had a spot in Arizona. Definitely worth checking out if your in the area or you just want a great breakfast. Thank you again Good Neighbor Restaurant best breakfast I've had at a restaurant since I was a teenager. P.s I don't know how you make those crispy breakfast potatoe wedge curlys but ? chefs kiss ! Amazing ! 1000⭐'s definitely recommend.

The first and last time I visited this place was 7 years ago and at that time I was impressed by how friendly everyone was, those who I assume are the owners are very friendly and you can tell that they want their workers to transmit that same energy because this March 2024 I have finally seen this place for the second time, it is practically just as beautiful, everyone is still very very friendly and most importantly, the breakfasts are still huge and delicious! In the photos I put a small butter and a coffee cream so you have an idea of how big the food is, if one is quite full and the truth is I'm happy that it's still as good as the first time.It only has 4 stars because there are only two individual bathrooms and there was a slight queue because a granny was in a bathroom (actually in the "men's" bathroom) and they are close to the kitchen so sometimes people waiting to go to the bathroom They got in the way of the waiters a bit, but other than that the bathrooms were clean, it's really a slight inconvenience but that doesn't mean it's not what you think of when you have a typical American breakfast in mind.Parking: There is enough parking but the place is in a small square with other places so at certain times or during high tourist season I imagine it will be relatively difficult to find parking.

What a great little breakfast place! Great food and great service. My son said it was the best omelette he has ever had. The potatoes were so crispy and flavorful. We are glad we found this spot while on vacation.

These Banana Pancakes were so good with fluff and the bananas inside. Food was served hot and ready and everyone was super nice. Good coffee Good scramble eggs and good thick crispy bacon. Highly recommend especially if you're staying at the Hilton Universal City Hotel it's literally less than 3 minute drive.
