Tried this place for a late brunch. The prices are a little high, but overall it's pretty tasty. My bf ordered the Texas bbq burger and I ordered the chai latte and the crossaint breakfast sandwich. I'm only taking off one star because I asked the server how the eggs were cooked and she said over medium. I thought this meant that the yolks would be partially set, but when the food runner brought out our food there was liquidy egg yolk all over the plate, which is NOT how over medium eggs are supposed to look. I had to ask for extra napkins to mop up the messy yolk and attempt to eat around the slimy bits. The breakfast sandwich tasted great, it just sucks that it was messier to eat because of the yolk

Very convenient brunch spot, good food options and fun drink specials! It wasn't even that busy around noon on the weekend, so I was happy how fast everything came out. Outdoor seating was quiet even if it was right next to the road!

Food and service are good. Inside seating is bit tricky. Booths are good but chairs and high chairs are uncomfortable

The pros: - Open from 8am - Large menu with lots of breakfast and brunch items The cons: - Low food quality. Price to quality ratio is VERY high. Like iHOP or Denny's but $20 for a breakfast plate. - Scammy tipping and service charge practices. They add a 3.95% service charge to the bill which they state is to support paying minimum wage (admitting that your restaurant can't even pay minimum wage to the employees is not a good look- just raise your food prices if you can't run your business and pay people decently). BUT what's much more sneaky is that they suggest the 18% or 20% tip which they calculate based off of the total INCLUDING this service charge and the tax. So they want you to tip not only on the food total, but also tip them for the government taxing you, and tip them on the 4% service charge that they mandated! I worked in the service industry for years and this is just wrong. They are counting on scamming people who just accept the suggested tipping amounts without calculating it for themselves based off the food and drink total. Pretty unethical business practice. - To go service is terrible. Orders always running behind, sometimes an hour behind, orders get "lost", wrong or missing items etc. If you order directly from their website they have a preset default 20% tip (for TO GO), and good luck getting a refund directly from the restaurant if they "lose" your order ticket.

They put a stale pre-made SWEET crepe with a savory filling YUCK! It was stiff and cold. After several tries we're not going here anymore. Even the wait staff is unhappy. Try another location- there's one not far on Ventura in Sherman Oaks.

NO GLUTEN FREE BREAD. It's been a month now, and still out of gluten free bread. Traders Joes is down the street, just go grab a bag.

Took over a full hour to make two breakfast sandwiches for delivery. They weren't even correct when I got them. Food quality is noticeably not good either. A hundred better ways to spend $25 and an hour and a half waiting. Lesson learned. They go by "Breakfast Beauties" on UberEats

Goes by breakfast beauties on postmates - took an hour to make two sandwiches and got both wrong. Bacon breakfast sandwich missing bacon, hot sauce missing from other sandwich. Meat quality for the breakfast burger was also terrible. Don't waste your money here- avoid at all costs.

Our group of 5 met at 1 pm on a Thursday afternoon. We sat outside because the weather was nice, but we had to clear off the table ourselves. They had a large selection of breakfast meals as you would expect from a breakfast place (they close at 3:00) and other common food like burgers and salads. I ordered a regular burger with onion rings, and my bf ordered the Hangover burger and fries. Food was good (between $15 - $20 with an additional surcharge of 4% added to that)... but my server kept forgetting the lemon to my iced tea and mayo for my burger. Service was okay. I would try coming again though.

*this is specifically for their chili. If you grew up in the valley you should remember Chili My Soul (was on Ventura/Balboa). I guess when the owner passed Jinky's bought their chili recipes and I'm so glad I heard this. I haven't eaten at this location. But I've ordered the chili for delivery (especially great on cold and rainy days). It is just as good as I remember from decades ago at the original Chili My Soul.
