Y'all, I'm usually one to give establishments the benefit of the doubt, and it takes a lot to leave me truly disappointed. However, this experience left me utterly speechless. Hummus was extremely underwhelming. Tahini was dry, rough, and extremely bitter. Despite these disappointments, I tried to reassure myself that such things can happen. Also, sometimes, you need a little help deciding what to order. Customer service was not it. We felt rushed and uncomfortable ordering. The most concerning issue was the undercooked chicken. When we attempted to address this grave concern, the cashier's response was dismissive, as if it were inconsequential. In his exact words: 'That's just a vein. It's cooked perfectly fine.' Such disregard for food safety is deeply concerning. Prioritize your health, this was an awful experience.

I go to the The Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge very frequently and knew that this eatery was open but never tried it until tonight (1/29/24). I was avoiding it due to the cost but for the value it is actually great! As I was not super hungry, I got the Chicken Pita (Chicken, gingery turmeric roasted onions, golden raisins, yogurt sauce, arugula). It was amazing and super filling. The chicken was fresh and the raisins really gave it the extra flavor. They REALLY FILL the pita! My friend got the Quarter Chicken Plate (Choice of light or dark, with hummus, wedge salad, pickles, pita, chili oil + garlic sauce). They substituted the pita for the Schmaltzy Potatoes (Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside). It was a big portion and could have been shared. Will definitely be back!

Love their chicken combo and the wedge salad has one of the best dressings ever, miso poppyseed mmmm. This is my go to spot for lunch in the valley. I only wish is that that had a better parking situation.

My daughter and I both got food poisoning after eating the chicken pita. Cashier (Hank?) wasn’t very friendly. Wouldn’t eat here again.

Second time doing take-out and it was a hit. Whole chicken comes with some incredible garlic sauce. Chicken was moist and flavorful. 2 orders of the schmaltzy potatoes is a must. Tried the cauliflower and the cabbage for the 1st time and will definitely keep those on the list as they were loved by all. Wedge salad was okay - a little plain with radishes and green onion, poppyseed dressing. Enough food for 2 meals for 3 people. Around $70. Getting into and out of the parking lot at Sportsmen's Lodge is a challenge that should be addressed. Almost a reason not to go, but not quite!

I heard Kismet had great chicken and I wanted to try it so when they opened a stall (I don't know what to call it) in the Sportsmen's lodge I had to try it since it was closer to me. My BF and I ordered the half chicken meal for 2. It came with chicken, pita, wedge salad with pickled veggies, and hummus. It sounded like a good amount of food but for the price ($36 + tax) and being a stall, I feel like it would have been cheaper at Zankou. The chicken was good and not dry but nothing really noteworthy and the accompanying garlic sauce was watery and sort of bland. The salad was ok but I think I just don't like iceberg lettuce, yet the pickled cabbage was tasty. I love trying new food and restaurants, so I'm glad I tried it but I don't need to go back.

I was so excited to see this place open up here in the valley, but after trying the food I'm disappointed. I ordered the chicken salad. The lettuce variety was nice, but the chicken in the salad was very meh. Costco rotisserie chicken has more flavor.

Today I decided to place an order in this place for the first time. My daughter and I placed an order online and went to pick it up. When we brought the package home, we were very upset because the potatoes were not included, the chicken was burnt. We decided to try it anyway and my daughter found a hair in the chicken, besides the fact that the chicken was very dry. I go to a gym nearby and always see a lot of people near this place. I thought it was delicious. we paid $41 for burnt chicken and that's it.

This is delicious comfort food and at a very good price. If you’re looking for juicy rotisserie chicken with dripping garlic fat and potatoes then this is the place! We ordered take out after a long day and it was delicious. The side salad is crunchy and refreshing and is a nice contrast to the main dish. We also ordered hummus and tahini spreads and they were delicious. Love this concept of simple food to go.

We ordered takeaway from here last night and when we arrived for pick it up, the app had sent the order to the Hollywood location instead, they said it happens all the time. They packed the order for us with their apologies and included 2 free halva cookies (try them they are so good!) which was a really nice way of handling the situation.
