We had the most pleasant time at LA LA Sushi! It really was incredible at how the service was the friendliest we've ever had and the sushi quality was amazing. Thank you LA LA Sushi for the hospitality, we will most definitely come often.

This place is literally the best for all you can eat sushi, I can't believe how happy I am to discover such a hidden gem. From the friendly and kind service, to the fresh varieties of fish with so many options, it is the best in Studio City. Celebrities frequent this restaurant as well, so you may spot someone famous. Definitely heed all of the positive reviews and give this place a try. If you love sushi, you will not regret it.

Honestly couldn't believe how awful this was. The server was nice and apologetic but the food was terrible. Felt like a hidden camera show was about to jump out and say "JUST KIDDING!!" How does a sushi place get rice wrong? How does fish go wrong? I don't get who they're targeting for this crap ? Shame Shame shame.

LA LA Sushi was such a great find! My siblings and I were really craving some sushi, and we found that this place was open pretty late! We decided to eat here! And it did not disappoint! The restaurant was quiet and really nice as you can tell the workers enjoyed working with each other. It helps creates a positive atmosphere. For parking, we found street parking in the front of the store. You get 2 hours there. The restaurant had an Al La Carte or All You Can Eat options! My siblings and I decided to do Al La carte since we just wanted a few rolls. Red Wave roll wasn't spicy for us, but it still tasted really good! I'm a fan of any salmon. We also ordered the spicy tuna cut roll (8 pieces), California roll (8 pieces), and shrimp tempura roll (8 pieces). We didn't take photos of the full course, but all of them were good We were provided excellent customer service from the beginning! Thank you to Kelly and Changsen (hopefully, I spelled his name right) for checking up on us and letting us know the best dishes to eat. All and all, a great place to hit up and eat on those late nights! Thank you for having us!

Best sushi in the Valley hands down when it comes to freshness, presentation, and speed! Also happens to be one of the most dependable late night sushi restaurants in the valley!

My visit to this establishment was prompted by its advertising which boasted a "Premium" dining experience. However, what unfolded was a series of disappointments that starkly contrasted with their high-quality claims.Upon entering, I harbored high hopes for a culinary journey highlighted by exceptional dishes. Yet, the reality was a series of culinary missteps. The food, which was the centerpiece of my anticipation, failed to deliver on the advertised premium quality. The portions were oddly balanced, with an overwhelming amount of rice that seemed to have lost its freshness, overshadowing the scant servings of fish that were devoid of any distinctive flavors. This imbalance was evident across the board - from appetizers to rolls, and sushi, none managed to leave a memorable imprint. Particularly, the rolls seemed to rely heavily on California fillings, lacking any real fish content, and were topped with minimal fish portions that did not compensate for the overall lack of flavor. The sushi, albeit adorned with a reasonable size of fish, similarly failed to ignite the palate. Even the tempura, which I hoped would redeem the meal, was served lukewarm, further adding to the disappointment. The service did little to alleviate the growing sense of dissatisfaction. The near-empty restaurant could have been an opportunity for attentive, personalized service, yet what transpired was the opposite. Orders were not only slow to arrive, but the process of placing an order was also unnecessarily delayed as they refused to take new orders until the current ones had been fully prepared. This lack of efficiency was compounded by a disinterest in maintaining the dining area or addressing our needs proactively. An unfortunate incident involving a spilled water cup, which resulted in both the food and myself being doused, was handled with a surprising lack of professionalism. In their attempt to manage the spill, my phone was inadvertently thrown away with the trash, leading to a stressful retrieval process. The culmination of these service failures was their neglect to take our final round of orders, leaving us with the impression that our dining experience was of little importance. This dining experience was, unequivocally, one of the most disheartening all-you-can-eat sushi experiences I have ever encountered. The stark contrast between the advertised premium experience and the reality of what was delivered was jarring. The food lacked the quality and finesse I expected from a restaurant boasting such high standards, and the service deficiencies only amplified the overall disappointment. It became apparent that better quality sushi could indeed be found at a supermarket, offering more value and satisfaction than what was experienced here. Consequently, I am compelled to advise against dining at this establishment and will certainly not be returning. The memory of this visit serves as a reminder that premium advertising does not always equate to a premium experience.

We went there with a group of 6 and opted for the all you can eat at a pricey rate of $50 a person, which is very expensive. We were referred by the YouTube reviewer who spoke so highly of the quality and service of the food, which is about a 2 year old review. The night started out with the waitress spilling water all over my husband and his phone. To make matters worse, the phone was cleaned up with the rest of the mess and thrown in the trash can. We only found this out as he kept searching for his phone. The food took forever to come out and unfortunately was very poor quality fish and filled with old rice and mostly californira roll. The Shrimp rolls were very bland and overcooked. The service was awful as the took forever to bring food and when we order another round we sat there for over 30 mins and they never came to pick up menu. At this time, its past 11pm and no one wants to wait anymore for them to take another 30 mins to make the food. They only had 2 waitresses for whole restaurant and they had more people come in so they never attended to us anymore. They then bring the bill which was over $400 and added 20% gratuity! Absolutely ridiculous. I called to speak to manager the following day to at least refund us a portion as my husband and I barely ate as his clothes were super wet and we were dealing with finding his phone. The manager, Ryan, refused to refund us at least a portion even though he saw everything on camera. He offered a "discount" on our next visit. I said we will NOT be coming back as the food and experience was very disappointing. I tried to speak to manager to provide feedback but he did not care unfortunately.Worse AYCE experience. Don't waste your money!

The owner here, Misa Lee doesn’t allow people with pickup orders to use the restroom! Absolutely ridiculous considering we are supporting and your business. Shameful business policies.

The sushi was pretty standard. My boyfriend and I got the premium AYCE. I highly recommend the hamachi collar! The premium cuts of fish were obviously way better than the standards but you can only order 10 pieces per person within a party and each order only comes with one piece. Their spicy tuna crispy rice was also very good and my boyfriend loved the gyoza. When we went, it was pretty quiet inside with only 2 other parties dining in. They open late which is great and something I've never heard of from a sushi joint. Sweet shrimp is my boyfriend's and I personal favorite so we went crazy and ordered a lot of those. The shrimp also happens to only be part of the premium. In hindsight, we probably should've rationed out our allowance better to try other things. I managed to get one oyster just to try because I love oysters but I'm very cautious when it comes to eating it. The oyster here had literally no flavor but that's not in the restaurants control (that I know of). When we started getting full, we ordered one last plate of salmon nigiri and got a plate of yellowtail instead. Didn't want to cause a scene and we didn't want to send the item back as it would be a waste and we also do enjoy eating yellowtail. Just wished we could've ordered salmon one last time but after devouring the yellowtail, we were scared to order more in case we couldn't finish and get charged extra. Parking is street parking unless you want to valet. Not going to lie, it was kind of hard to find a spot because this restaurant is next to many other stores. We had to park across the street and walk over which is not the end of the world. We are just grateful that the meters are free after 8pm. What I don't like is that they did not mention an automatic gratuity of 20%... we were only a party of 2. There were no notices of gratuity being added and I honestly think it's kind of whack to make us pay 20% tip when there were literally no one there and we were only 2 people. We didn't even bring up the fact that we got the wrong order. Regardless, we paid the bill and left with no fuss. From our experience, my boyfriend and I probably won't be back. The food was good, don't get me wrong. However, it was not worth the hassle to drive there and find parking. It's pretty average and I'm sure there are many other ayce sushi dishing out the same quality for cheaper and not charging you a lump sum gratuity for parties less than 4.

First time trying this place. Me and My boyfriend saw it on a YouTube video from Rockstar Eater, and everything looked so good, we had to try! We arrived right when it opened, we were the 2nd group in there. We were greeted and attended so fast. Food was AMAZING!! Definitely will be coming back for more, and bringing family and friends here to try. No complaints, everything was phenomenal.

AYCE review: Would be a five star review however there are two things that are holding it back. First, the rice to fish ratio is terrible. They load up the nigiri and rolls with so much rice. I get why they do it, but it was just way too much rice. Not enjoyable. Second, their service is so slow. There were only two tables dining in, but it took 30 minutes in between rounds to get our food. I noticed they had a lot of to go orders and the chefs were busy taking care of those. Can't justify the price when all you are getting is rice.
