I had the pleasure of experiencing Philz Coffee for the first time a few year back and it was the best coffee I had ever had.Unfortunately there weren’t any close to where I lived at the time, but now there are and I must say it has been my favorite coffee spot ever since that first cup.At this location The staff exudes kindness and warmth, making each visit a delightful experience. Their drinks are simply incredible, crafted with a minimalist approach using only coffee beans, cream, and sugar. Occasionally, using mint and cardamom in some drinks, which are my personal favorites. The Philharmonic and the tantalizing Turkish, both have mint and cardamom, and they are simply amazing. This simplicity is what sets them apart, as the unique flavor profiles come solely from the high-quality coffee beans they use.I appreciate how Philz Coffee stays true to the essence of coffee, without relying on syrups or artificial flavorings that can mask the true taste of the brew. The result is a pure and authentic coffee experience that satisfies the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Philz Coffee truly embodies the art of artisanal coffee, making it a go-to destination for anyone who appreciates a quality cup of joe.In conclusion, Philz Coffee has won me over with its outstanding service, amazing drinks, and commitment to purity in coffee-making. It has become my top choice for a caffeine fix, and I highly recommend it to all coffee enthusiasts seeking a genuine and flavorful coffee experience. Cheers to Philz Coffee for setting the bar high in the world of minimalist artisanal coffee!!Dietary restrictions: They have oat milk, soy milk, and almond milkParking: Parking is a little difficult there is not normally a lot of spots on the street. Sometimes you can park across the street and walk over but again there’s not always spots on either side of the street. the parking lot behind Philz, if you want to stay and drink your coffee there, it’s a $10 fee. If you’re just picking up it’s free, but you can only be there for five minutes.

The coffee is some of the best ever/anywhere. Also one of the nicest spots for socializing and laptop working in LA.

Not sure, first time customer here. Couldn’t order a cappuccino. I’m not even sure what they were serving there, Whatever I got was interesting but not sure I’ll be back. Workers were nice but not my type of place.

I think the secret to Philz is using heavy cream (not 100 percent sure) but if you are in the mood for that, awesome.

Philz (and my mother-in-law) have taught me that pour-over coffee (look it up) is one of the best (and easiest!) brewing methods for consistently great coffee. Fortunately Philz sells some of the best beans around, roasted fresh and (somewhat) locally (Oakland, CA), making it easy to make great coffee at home. Or you can just come here and have them make you an exceptional coffee. I've been to many Philz stores and they are all great, warm and welcoming. Truly hand-crafted coffees, carefully created cup by cup. (YUM) (!)

I placed an order expecting a normal experience, and overall it was, except for this being the second time that the same Barista behaved stand offish and rude: they acted like they were in a hurry and acted dismissive, walking off instead of taking just seconds to hand me the receipt. The barista could have been Helisa, that was the name on my receipt, but worse than mild rudeness/disregarding someone: she speaks to a co worker and looks at me (obviously talking about me) and then the female co worker continued the unprofessionalism by staring at me then turning away, and only becomes attentive when I complain to another Barista, as I explained that the behavior from both women is uncalled for and unprofessional.

What a weird experience here. I've been to other locations and have had a great experience but it was all strange vibes here. No complaints about my coffee or the pumpkin muffin that I had though. There is also plenty of street parking but it can get crowded over the weekend. I also did Love the functionality of the space but customer service and friendliness was lacking for me. I came into this coffee shop to get some work done. As I placed my order and checked out I noticed my receipt said Karen, which I thought was the name of the barista. As I picked up my order it also said Karen. I asked who Karen was and they insisted that's the name they heard me say. To be honest I don't even remember her asking my name. When I told another barista about this she said oh we always ask for a name and that my name Miriam sounds like Karen. WHAT?! I was highly irritated by that because she wasn't even the one that took my order. I'm not annoyed at all at the fact that people can mishear things, it was more in how they handled it.

I would like to speak to store manager regarding a incident that took place here , please leave contact info email or number for me to reach out to stores manager or directly to phillz coffee corporate. thank you as far as reviews i give this store 1 star due to lack of professionalism and rude customer service, and inappropriate behavior towards customers by bariatas / cashier .

A light cream light sweet Philtered Soul for a weekday afternoon pick me up? Yes! The drink was the perfect amount of sweet and bold and hot enough to double-cup to keep your hands warm on cold day. Parking here is plentiful, with meters closeby. If you don't mind the walk across the street or from the residential streets, though, then it's free! The interior was well decorated for the holidays and also fairly lit with a relaxing vibe. Like most Philz Coffee locations, the background music is on the slightly louder side, so make sure to bring a good pair of headphones if your intent is to work. The staff? The best part Not sure if I avoided the craziness, but here were no lines, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming - even checked that my drink was perfect from when I picked it up.

Ashley - you make the best drinks hands down. My partner picks me up a Mocha Tesora or Winter Bliss every so often, and every time I take the first sip and it tastes perfect, I check the name and it's you, so, thank you :)
